时间飞逝，转眼间已是黄梅时节。外面的雨声也不曾停过，雨点随风一路飘去，就像牛毛，就像细丝，就像花针。多水的江南就是如此，一旦下雨，就停不下来了。但在此时，却别有一番诗意。树上的果子已经熟透了，但却依旧藏在绿叶之中，就像个娇滴滴的小姑娘。
不一会，天色渐渐暗了下来，已是傍晚时分。然而，这渐渐沥沥的雨声却不曾消停。随着太阳的降落，天空中的墨色也随之增加。夜色朦胧，远处的长亭也渐渐融入夜色，分辨不出来了。这时，诗人坐在屋内，等他那约好的朋友。
虽说等待是漫长的，但在诗人面前，却就不同了。诗人透过自家的窗户，隐隐约约看到了草地中的一口池塘。即时夜色朦胧，但青草的透绿依然清晰可见。耳边的蛙鸣也别有一番风趣，听着听着，就入迷了。
诗人走出家门，踱步在凉亭周边，时而仰头望天，思索着什么，时而低头看鞋，念叨着什么，似乎没有人会走进他的世界。池塘边的荷花开了，散发着淡淡的清香，潺潺的流水伴随着一阵阵的蛙鸣，好不惬意。“黄梅时节家家雨，青草池塘处处蛙。”诗人轻声吟诵着突然来自灵感的一首诗，反复吟诵着，诗人的眼角扬起了一丝笑意，似乎在期待着什么。
夜色已深，大概已是子时了吧。诗人坐在屋内，敲着棋子，想着等下的下法。但朋友却迟迟未到，诗人也有些坐不住了，心想是什原因是他到现在还依旧未至。或是有事，或是大雨，又或是本就不曾想来。诗人就这样想着，猛然间，手中的棋子掉在油灯旁，震落了星星点点的灯花。

I have a lot of friends in Simon English School. One of them is my best friend. His name is boyd.
He and I are both thirteen years old. but I am older than he, and I am fatter than he too. He is shorter than I, and he is thinner than I. He wears a pair of glasses but I don't.
He likes to eat pocket-food, and he is a gentleman in a sense that when he has pock-food he will share them with us.
He and I are in the same school and in the same class. So, we can help each other. We alway play in the school together. he likes to do thing I like. He lives in the Ningbo Jiangdong, so he hardly came to my home in Zhenghai but I alway go to his home on weekends and he sometimes will come to my home on weekends. Sometimes we will fight but we alway get along well.
His mother is a doctor in the Li-Hui-Li hospital and I know where her office is. His father is a worker in the Bei-Lun power plant. He is a head of a group. So, his father has a lot of work to do.
He and I are in the same school. We usually have a good time so he is my best friend.

窗外下着“淅淅沥沥”的小雨，那雨就像牛毛，就像花针，就像细丝，落到郊外，落到梅树上。一颗颗熟透了的嫩黄色的小果子羞答答地用一片两片嫩绿色的小树叶遮住自己那害羞的小脸蛋儿，不敢见人，就像个扭扭捏捏的小姑娘。雨水落到挡着她脸的树叶上，叶子在斜风细雨中摇曳了几下，把身上的水珠滴到地上，“滴滴哒哒”地响，就像在弹琴，弹一首春天的赞歌。钢琴家到场了，歌唱家们也闪亮登场了，青蛙小姐，青蛙先生们在长满着绿绿青草的池塘边和着小水珠的调子，一展歌喉。
音乐会正到高潮部分呢，远处突然传来“咚，咚，咚”的声音，歌唱家被惊着了，“扑通扑通”几声跳进了水里，歌声也戛然而止了。
诗人赵师秀坐在茅草屋里，等待着约好的诗友前来下棋。可是，都已经是半夜三更了，还是不见他的人影。此时，池塘里的青蛙似乎叫得更欢了。他心中忐忑不安起来：奇怪了，平时都挺守约的他，今天怎么迟迟未到？是他病了？还是家里出了什么急事？他默默地沉思着，一只手便不由自主地夹起一颗棋子敲击着棋盘，忽见一朵闪亮的小灯花落在棋盘上。
