为使所写的'文章，赢得更多读者的喜爱，达到人人乐读的地步，除保留原文的韵味外，应有自己的独到见解，尤其是内容和结构一定要不拘泥与原文，这样，写出的文章才会有新意。还要在反复阅读的基础上，进行合理的加工、修改，使改写后的文章更完美。虽然是改写，也要注意讲究条理清楚、层次分明，前后的照应，保持结构的完整性。
此外，改写还要注意以下几点：
Ａ、注意改写文与原文的联系，明确改写文是建立在原文的基础之上的，两者千万不要割裂开来，两者是相辅相成。
Ｂ、改写的时候可以适当发挥想象，围绕原文的中心增加必要的情节、细节和语句。但要注意详略安排要得当。
Ｃ、改写不能大段大段地抄写原文，要在理解原文的基础上，用自己的话来写。
