Dear all,
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to my parents for teaching me to be positive and to be strong. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” is the opinion held by Aristotle. It is the experience of our forefathers, however, it is correct even today, including my parenting.
It is widely acknowledged that parenting, which can also be explained as family education, is of great significance in our character forming and manner acquiring. To be more detailed, setting good examples instead of just giving precepts is the greatest achievement of my parents. They not only taught me to think for the best and prepare for the worst; they taught me how. They not only told me the benefits of being strong in mind; they proved it. All those things require huge amount of time and work, but it’s worth it.
Without my parents’ contribution and education, I would never be who I am now. But most importantly, I would never be more gratitude to them than today.

就如我们伟大的科学家爱迪生，他曾经试验一次电灯泡试验，就经历了上万次失败，如果没有良好的心理素质，又怎能在这种频繁毁灭性的打击下依旧做到桃花笑春风呢？爱迪生曾遭遇一次火灾，当他被人发现时，他正在火灾堆中平静地看着火势，并对他的儿子说：“快去叫你的母亲，她恐怕一辈子也见不到这样的'场面。”这种淡定与平和，是普通人无法超越的，而正是因为这种淡定与平和良好的心理素质，才是爱迪生给后人创造了那么多的发明，成就物理新时代。
心理素质，不仅在取得成绩，获得成就方面有很大的意义，对人们的身体健康更是有不可忽视的功能。在21世纪，人们的生活压力大，时时都面临着下岗，失业的风险。甚至是学生，也有着考试挂科的心理危机。在这些沉重的打击下，很容易导致心理失衡。这是导致健康问题。所以我们不仅要重视心理素质，更要懂得如何去获得良好的心理素质。这样才能获得身心的健康，从而取得成就，扬起人生的船帆。
在21世纪，最重要的是知识，但比知识更重要的是能力，而比能力更重要的是心理素质！希望朋友们都能够具有良好的心理素质，顺利地披荆斩棘，到达成功的彼岸！

In my life I have met a great many people who are really worth recalling. But perhaps the most unforgettable person I ever know is my English teacher.
What frequently brings back memories of my school teacher is his special qualities. First and foremost, he gave us the greatest gift a teacher can offeran awakening of a passion for learning. He not only led us to an appreciation of the beauty and perfection of English language and literature, but also aroused our great interest in exploring something deeper in this field. Furthermore, I was attracted by his lively wit.
