Chen Mo is my desk mate who is a good student in the eyes of classmates and teachers. She is the first one to get to school every day. Usually, she spends half an hour in learning English that takes us much to remember vocabularies and read the articles. Moreover, she not only focuses on her own study, but also helps other students in need. Classmates like asking her for help, because she is always ready for help. However, I prefer to regard her as my friend rather than desk mate. We communicate with each other frequently after class. We discuss our study as well as share our lives. She is desperately interested in playing badminton, so do I. We would play badminton very Friday after class, which helps us relax ourselves as well build our body. It’s so great to have a desk mate that has interest in common.

He is a chubby little boy with big eyes and small mouth. He is very cute. Hes very smart, especially in math, and hes very engaged in class.
记得有一次，在上课得时候我问刘晋铭一道题，可是刘晋铭看老师写字在黑板上，完全听不到我的题问。我的同桌真是投入呀！
I remember once when I was in class, I asked Liu Jinming a question. But when Liu Jinming saw the teacher writing on the blackboard, he couldnt hear my question at all. My deskmate is really engaged!

就拿我所在的乡村来说，如今已改头换面，与以前相比，差别简直大得惊人。昔日的泥泞小路成了宽敞平整的水泥路。那低矮的瓦房被一幢幢高大美观的楼房所取代。不仅如此，实施“家电下乡”后，政府还补贴13%，一些名牌家电已走进普通的老百姓家。学生上学书费全免……家乡的变化说不尽也道不完，只有亲眼目睹才会相信。
小时候，常听奶奶跟我讲她小时候的生活。吃得是糠草杂面，家境贫穷，兄弟姐妹又很多，父母都是靠做苦力来维持生活，不要说上学读书，只要能吃饱饭就不错了……每当说到这儿，奶奶的眼角总是有含着泪水。但一看我，又总是破涕为笑，轻轻地抚摸着我的头，捧着我的手，语重心长地对我说：“你一定要好好学习，将来做个有出息的人！”这是全家人对我的希望，我一定会为之不懈奋斗。相比起奶奶，我觉自己仿佛生活在蜜窑一般。不愁吃穿，无忧无虑的长大，还可以接受教育。我忽然觉得自己好幸福，拥有这么多，这都得感谢党的好政策，家乡政府积极进取的精神，家乡人民的`努力团结。我一定要珍惜现在美好的生活，努力学习，将来用行动来报答我可爱的家乡。
当然，这只是我亲眼所见，亲身经历的变化，日益强健的湖北的变化远不止这些。发展“两圈一带”；建设两型社会；建设鄂西生态文化旅游圈；实行交通一体化，生活一体化，文化一体化；资讯一体化，为人民群众解决实际问题……湖北犹如一条腾飞的巨龙，正谱华章。

My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses. Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man. He often helps his neighbours and some strangers whom he doesnt know at all. My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking.
