生命是美丽的，生活是丰富多彩的。可是，到了我这里，好像就都变的不一样了。总觉得，我对现在的一切都很满足，就想过那这种无欲无求的简单生活。在日常生活中，我对物质没有什么迷恋，没有过高的消费，一件衣服要穿好多年才让它下岗，所以也就谈不上什么物质过剩。我的生活很简单，每天在工作与家庭两点一线之间忙碌。闲暇之时，约三五个知心朋友聊聊天，或投入大自然的怀抱，暂时忘却都市的喧嚣，给眼睛充充电，让肺来洗洗澡，对于我来说，是一件很开心的事情。孩子外出求学，除了正常的工作，我有大把的时间用来消遣。上天给了我很多，我在乎的却很少。我不玩任何游戏，不喜欢去KTV，好像那些歌舞升平的生活，离我就像前世一般遥远。除了一些避不开的应酬，热闹对于我来说，是生活的一种点缀，浅尝即可。随着父母的双双离世，对人生，更多了一份深层次的理解。对待一些看起来很复杂的事情，不再急躁、不再执着、更不再计较什么。心放平了，生活就像一滩平静的水，波澜不惊。心放轻松了，人生就像一朵缥缈的云，逍遥自在。
不知道从什么时候开始。渐渐的，我变成了一个喜欢寂静的人。就连手机上的微信通知，都被我无情地关闭（生命中比较特殊的亲人除外），不喜欢被微信通知不断弹出的信息所干扰。还有微信朋友圈，我很少观看。我喜欢在单调乏味的时光里，端一杯清茶，坐在窗前，什么都不去想，静静地对着天空发呆。或捧一本书，安静地呆一个下午，让心灵自由地去飞翔。寂静的夜晚，走入自己的内心，生命中的那些相遇与过往，反复思索、慢慢追忆，独享只属于自己灵魂的狂欢。哦！对了，我还有一份简单的爱好。我喜欢打开电脑，与文字共舞，把感受倾诉给生活，把爱恨讲述给心灵。通通这些，没有任何功利，没有任何祈求，只为自娱自乐、随心所欲。每个人都有自己的生活方式，自己的人生，自己做主。常怀一颗平常心，与人聊聊天，感受一下世间百态；看一场自己喜欢的电影，就是心灵的盛宴，就是平淡生活中的充实与快乐。睁开眼睛，拥抱晨光；下班归家，依偎夕阳。这就是我这个普通人所追寻的精神的自由与思想的独立。
做简单的人是一件很幸福的事情。现在，我拥有一份安身立命的工作，稳定、幸福的家庭，自己喜欢的一点点爱好，还有几位可以畅所欲言的知己，这就是我简单的生活。我对这种简单的生活很满足。知足，也是一种幸福。
