Sperber和Wilson主张用“关联原则”来解释人类的交际。他们认为，语言交际是一个认知过程，交际双方之所以能够配合默契，是因为有一个最佳的认知模式，即“关联”。关联由两个因素决定：语境效果和心智努力。人类认知活动的目标就是在认知过程中力图以最小的心智努力获得最大的语境效果。为了达到这个目标，人们必须把注意力集中于最为“关联”的信息，以获取信息和语境的最佳关联。最佳关联是指在话语理解时以一定的心智努力获得足够的语境效果。
交际是否成功关键在于人对事物之间的联系或关联的认识。人类在认知过程中往往以最大关联为取向，但在实际交际过程中我们只能期待产生一个最佳关联，即听者在理解话语时用最小的认知努力获得足够的语境效果，并以交际为取向。关联理论认为语境是一个在互动过程中为了正确理解话语而存在于人们大脑中的一系列假设，所以关联理论的语境不限于现实环境中的情景或话语本身的语境，交际中的语境不是固定不变的，而是动态的。而最佳的语境效果是由明示——推理模式提供的。明示，即说话人明白无误地表达出自己的意图；推理，即听话人从说话人提供的信息中推断出说话人暗含的意图。其中，听话人的推理是理解话语的核心，而关联则是听话人推理的基础。对话语进行推理就是在话语与语境假设之间寻找一种关联，关联选取得当就会获得足够的语境效果，有了语境效果，就能正确理解话语，使交际获得成功。

一个漫长的寒假已经悄然度过，美好的新春已经到来。“一年之计在于春”，伴随着这个万物复苏，焕然一新的季节中，新学期启程了；伴随着上课铃声，我们重新走进美丽的校园。
距中考还有仅仅四个月的复习时间，为了考上一个理想的高中，为了画上一个圆满的句号，我在学习中对七大科目各一些新的规划。
语文，平时多积累一些优美的句子，为作文打好基础。像古诗、文言文不要记硬背，首先要清楚地理解大概的含义，然后要求细节问题，从整体到单一逐字做到精益求精，才能做到倒背如流，滚瓜烂熟。
数学，基本概念复习好，平时做题时，要从错题中吸取。不要一昧盲目的做，做一些不同类型的题，尝试挑战更多的难题，才能激流而上，勇往直前。
英语，平时应多听一些英文电影或歌曲，练习口语交际能力之类的，能有助于提高写作文理，而且对听力，会有很大的提升。每天背一些单词，是一定要坚持的。持之以恒，必然会成功。
物理，要熟记物理公式以及定义，清楚那些概念的含义，计算题要心细如发。对于不同的题型，总结不同的方法。
化学，背诵的方面要学会询找规律，要不定期的复习巩固，时不时地翻一翻笔记，才不容易被忘记。
历史和政治，是已记忆为主的科目，把每一单元的重点知识整理归纳，要及时消化。看到题目，就要分析出知识点，做到耳熟能详，熟能生巧，巧妙利用答案。
俗话说得好“早起的鸟有虫吃。”我还要改掉爱睡懒觉的'坏习惯，养成早睡早起的好习惯。为了更好的明天，要付出更多的努力。
不要做语言的巨人，要成为行动的主人！成功不是靠梦想来实现的，而是靠自己的行动一点一滴积累的。新学期，新起点；新计划，新面貌。让我们憧憬更加美好的明天，整理好行囊，让我们再次踏上全新的征途！

Dan Sperber和Deirdre Wilson的关联理论是在H。P。Grice的交际理论与会话含意理论的基础上发展起来的，他们合着的《关联性：交际与认知》一书中对其有很精辟的阐述。关联理论作为认知语言学一个理论给西方语用学界带来了极大影响。它将关注的核心投到人类交际与话语理解方面，其影响力已超出了语用学领域，延伸到翻译领域。因为自然语言中的每个话语都可以有多种理解，要正确的理解自然语言，就必须通过语境来寻找信息的关联，然后根据话语和语境的关联进行推理。而翻译中为达到语用等效，其前提正是正确地理解自然语言。因此，关联理论就成为可以指导翻译的语用翻译理论。
