summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

"十有五而志于学"，胸怀着宏伟的政治抱负，却郁郁不得志，终于在鲁定公时，他新官上任，并很快升任大司寇。面对朝中封建顽固势力三桓的处处刁难，孔子慨然应之。齐国与鲁国会盟，孔子用100辆牛车吓退了齐国的500乘战车，保护鲁定公安然返回，齐国的`诡计未能得偿所愿，还不费一兵一卒收回了汶上三城。这便是孔子，聪明、机智的孔夫子。
夫子的才能终于被鲁公看到，官拜代国相。他宣扬以礼治国，为帮鲁公收回军权，实行隳三都的国策，坦然向三桓的封建恶势力宣战。虽然此国策在大司马的阻挠下前功尽弃，甚至因此被驱出鲁国，但他的信念依然不变，这也是孔子，坚定、执着的孔夫子。
周游列国，颠沛流离，看着自己的弟子心甘情愿地跟着自己吃苦，挨饿受冻，夫子落泪了。在自己心爱的弟子颜回、子路相继离自己而去时，夫子落泪了。在夫子终于回到鲁国的那一刻，他喊出了："我回来了，我的故乡，我的父母之邦，新学期作文《新学期第一周作文片段2》。"他眼里也满是泪水。这更是孔子，慈善、思乡的孔夫子。
孔子的学问太高深，道德太高尚，却被当时的一些人视为迂腐而不切实际的理想家。他到处宣传自己的主张，收徒讲学，为的只是希望有人能理解并施行自己的政治主张，却鲜有人能应和。因此当南子讲出"世人皆知夫子在苦痛中度过，却不知夫子在苦痛中悟得很深的境界"时，他动容了。这还是孔子，渴望理解的孔夫子。
走进孔夫子，理解他孤寂的人生；品味《论语》，感受他高尚的心灵。

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.
