那是一个晴朗的日子，星期六。刚吃完午饭，妈妈就收拾碗筷，拿到厨房去洗。我站在厨房门口想：“妈妈真辛苦，我要帮帮她！”于是我跑到妈妈面前说：“妈妈，我来洗吧，您休息一下！”妈妈说：“你行吗？”我说：“我行的，妈妈！”妈妈点了点头说：“好吧，但不要把碗摔破了！”“明白了。”我说。
我想了一下妈妈平时洗碗的步骤：第一步，倒一小盆热水；第二步，往热水里倒点洗洁精；第三步，用钢丝球去擦洗碗筷；第四步，用清水冲洗碗筷。我已经知道了步骤，于是照着去做。但是，当我做到第二步的时候，一不留神把洗洁精倒太多了，所以，弄得到处是洁白的泡泡，碗一放进去，我刷呀刷，一松手，碗突然之间消失了，怎么也找不到。我又找，哦，原来它在水里，并没有消失，只是摸着水里滑溜溜的，感觉好像没有碗似的，所以刚才没找到。我一个一个的`洗，洗到第五个碗的时候，因为水太滑，所以碗“砰”的一声，掉到水池里了。我以为把碗摔坏了，吓得心怦怦直跳，不敢叫妈妈来看！我非常小心地从水里把碗拾起来一看：哈哈！碗没坏！于是，我就坚持继续洗下去。终于，我成功地把碗筷洗完了，虽然我已经腰酸腿疼，但是一个碗也没摔坏！
看着一个个干净的碗在那亮闪闪的，好像天上的星星在眨眼晴，我心满意足的笑了，我终于能帮妈妈洗碗了，让妈妈多一点休息时间！我以后还要做更多的事，让妈妈不用再那么辛苦！
第一次洗碗的经历，让我感受到了劳动带来的快乐和满足，有多少成功的结果都始于第一次，我一定要做好人生中的每一个第一次！
