木雕，是非洲最常见的工艺品。摊点里陈列的木雕琳琅满目，各式各样。
在一个摊子上，我惊奇地发现一个卷鼻大耳象的木凳，象背上驮着一块寸把厚的树桩。
在大耳象的旁边，有一只威武的狗站在石头上格外引人注目，天上有一轮圆圆的明月，那只狗昂着头望着那轮明月，似乎在想月亮里的嫦娥姐姐在干什么呢？我想这应该就是传说中黄山奇石的“天狗望月”吧。
我捧着一块和书一般大小的木板，仔细观赏，爱不释手。上面雕刻着两条中国龙，前爪相互抵着，各自回首遥望。两条龙仿佛都在游动，真像活了一样。
我的目光停留在雕刻在长球上的长耳兔上，这只兔子长着长长的耳朵，红宝石般的眼睛，还有小巧玲珑的三瓣嘴，可爱极了。
这些木雕工艺品构思巧妙，做工精致，个个雕得栩栩如生，活灵活现的，不知是哪位能工巧匠雕刻出来的，木雕表现了非洲人民的智慧才能。

I\'m not yet sure whether you exist, though I\'d like to believe that you do. While it may not make much logical sense, you\'ve been on my mind lately. However, I have been thinking about a few things I want you to know.

I love my job, I love my crazy friends and family, and I love spending quality time alone. I want you to know that my life has purpose apart from and before you. I want you to know that I am not a trophy. Apparently, a lot of guys think this is a compliment. However, I want you to know that I have no desire to be seen as a trophy — a symbol of your own perceived success. I was not raised just to sit and look pretty on anybody\'s shelf. I want to have intellectual conversations. I want to help you chase your dreams. I want to be your partner, not your prize.

那个小闹钟的外形是个可爱的丁当猫，圆圆的脸像个大面饼，雪白雪白的。大大的脸上长着一对绿豆般大的眼睛，黑得透亮，和脸形成了鲜明的对比。在脸蛋的两旁，立着两只小巧玲珑的耳朵，看它的神情好像在认真地听着主人的述说。最漂亮的还要数它耳朵上的那个粉红色蝴蝶结。你可不要小看了这个蝴蝶结，它可不是单单用来装饰的。只要按一下这个蝴蝶结，这个丁当猫就会亮起来，像一盏小灯，每天晚上我都会和它说悄悄话，所以它也是我的“知心朋友”。这个丁当猫的下半身就是一个可爱的小闹钟，所以它最大的特点就是上身大下身小。
其实，我以前也不怎么喜欢这个小闹钟，总觉得它太普通了，并没有给我多大的帮助。我对这个小闹钟的看法是在一个星期一的早晨才改变的。那天早晨，我正在香甜的睡梦当中，突然响起了一阵急促的铃声，我心想：“大清早，乱叫什么，扰了我的好梦。”我把闹钟拿到眼前，瞟了一眼。“呀！”真是不看不知道，一看吓一跳，已经是七点十分了。我从床上跳起来，抓起衣服就往身上穿。穿完衣服，挎上书包，就往外冲。一直冲到班门口，上课铃准时打响了。多亏了这个小闹钟，要不然，我还在被窝里呼呼大睡呢！
从此以后，我就把这个小闹钟放在我的枕头边上，和它聊天。它也用清脆的滴答声回应我。
