那为什么称大熊猫为活化石呢？因为大熊猫在地球上活了八百万年，且因繁殖能力低，每次只能生一个，有时会两个，生下来又特别小，存活能力很低，所以数量稀少，又对研究很有帮助，是科学家梦寐以求的研究对象。大熊猫不仅有研究价值，还是友好使者呢！
大熊猫作为友好使者在世界各地都留下了足迹。曾去过日本的熊猫兰兰在日本掀起了“熊猫热”受到许多人的喜爱。在日本病故后，连日本首相都在痛悼兰兰的离去。
如今的野生大熊猫，已不到一千六百只了，是中国一级保护动物，“保护熊猫，人人有责”让我们呼吁大家为保护熊猫献出爱心吧！
