读书的确使我明白了不少道理。刚开始，我只是读漫画小说，想调解一下心情，消遣消遣，由此却使我了解到我国和其他国家的'历史。如漫画本的《三国演义》里面讲了，中国古代三个国家争权的故事。我读的书从漫画小说慢慢的发展到小说如《战争与和平》是名副其实的历史读物，记录了许多具有代表性的历史事件。而我所看的杂志更是让我了解世界各地的风俗人情。例如《世界博览》中就记述了有关伊拉克的一些事情。我从知识性较强的书中学到了解题的方法，从中使我的语文、数学成绩提高了一些。这一类的事有很多。我的课外读书生活十分丰富。书是我的朋友。通过课外读书生活，我觉得做作业、学习不累，也不再排斥它了。我的课外读书生活也让我认识到了我的不足，而且补充了我的不足，我现在觉得读书非常快乐了。
我在读书前后有了很大的变化。我从一个课外知识并不丰富的小学生变成爱读书、爱看书、课外知识也较丰富的人了。对各种知识都感兴趣。我为我爱读书了感到高兴自豪。
