今天是我们这次出游的最后一站——北京。
北京给我的第一感觉就是：热，比上海的温度差不到哪去。爸爸说北京是我国的首都，是政治中心，有很多的纪念意义，说凡是中国的孩子，都应该来看看北京，看看天安门，瞻仰一下伟大的像，还要看看人民英雄纪念碑，要时刻记住我们幸福的今天是多少人流流汗才换来的。后来，我真的站在了天安门广场上，看到了高高挂着的像，还看到像钉子一样为人民英雄纪念碑站岗的武警叔叔。不过，很可惜是，为了迎国庆60周年，到处都围了起来整修，无法看到全貌，但我想我以后肯定还有机会再来的。
在后面的几天，爸爸还带我去了故宫、天坛、北海公园，又爬了闻名世界的八达岭长城，我又一次证明了自己是“好汉”。晚上，我们去了奥运会著名的比赛场馆“水立方”和“鸟巢”，水立方五彩缤纷的颜色让人目不暇接，鸟巢奇特的造型也让我难以忘怀，还有那美味的北京烤鸭更是让我垂涎预滴。

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

这个暑假，我过得特别开心，但是，其中最开兴的事，就是去北京旅行了。
我们是在19号的晚上11点才到达北京的，那时候好困，在宾馆睡了一大觉。第二天，就开始我们的北京之旅了！
我们首先去了八达岭长城，哪有特别陡得路段，一定要扶着旁边的杆子才能走。有一段特别有趣，断了。爸爸还把那“奇景”用相机拍了下来。我们在那走了一个上午，我的脚都走得痛了。最后，我买了一个漂亮的紫色手镯作为纪念。
下午，我们去了颐和园。我最喜欢看古装电视剧了，看到皇宫的豪华，我羡慕得不得了，想去亲眼看看，今天终于满足了我的愿望。我们看了长廊、石坊、十七孔桥等等许多有名的经典。
而到了晚上7点，我则去了国家游泳馆——水立方。那儿好漂亮，鲜花开得鲜艳，池塘请得见底。我观看女子单人10米跳代的预赛，陈若琳的表现使全场最好的`。她不费吹灰之力的拿到了第一名，进入了决赛。出来时，我还碰到了三（5）班的同学王家俊，真巧啊！
第二天我还去了鸟巢、故宫、天安门。

十一长假到了，我们全家兴高采烈地去北京游玩。
我们坐了两个小时的飞机，下午终于顺利抵达了北京。北京机场的外观，有着浓烈的中国特色，外墙是大红色，十分美丽。内部结构十分先进，设施齐全。让人看了心旷神怡。
北京的道路旁边，花团锦簇，姹紫嫣红。一栋栋高楼矗立着。车开到了天安门广场周围，一排排形状奇特的路灯绽放着夺目的光彩。好象一位位士兵在欢迎我们呢！

第三天，我们来到了奥林匹克中心区——“鸟巢”，“水立方”……这一些奥运场馆都给人留下了美好的记忆。鸟巢一共有七个门，它的上面有许多的喷射焰火的设备，还有非常高科技的照明设施。一走进入鸟巢，啊！鸟巢好大呀！一共三层楼呢！每层楼约有2万多个座位。这个庞大的建筑物可以容纳八万多名观众同时观看一场比赛。鸟巢以后既可能变成一个大型的娱乐场所，又可能成为以后世界杯、世锦赛和田径赛的主场馆。
我们依依不舍地离开了鸟巢，又来到了国家游泳中心——“水立方”。在水立方外，百花齐放，绿树成荫。虽然我们没有进水立方看，但我知道，“水立方”里的设备，和鸟巢一样，都是一样先进的。

Some records show that Peter J. McGuire， general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor， was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."
But Peter McGuire"s place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire， a machinist， not Peter McGuire， founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire， later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson， N.J， proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.
