我最期盼的就是暑假的到来了，因为妈妈说过：“八月份要以玩为主。”果然是以玩为主，八月份刚过一个星期，我们就要去旅游了，终点是延安。而且我们是自己开车去，可以在途径的城市游玩。不错！这样还可以去洛阳龙门石窟，西安大雁塔，开封府……在这些旅游景点里，我最喜欢的就是龙门石窟了。
龙门石窟特别大，一共有11万尊雕像，最大的有4层楼高，最小的只有一个大拇指那么大。景区里面有八个大洞窟：古阳洞、宾阳三洞、奉先寺、莲花洞和万佛洞。佛像最多的洞是万佛洞，有一万尊四厘米高的小佛。这些小佛整整齐齐地排列在洞里。最小的佛像在莲花洞里，高只有两厘米，比阿尔卑斯糖还要小，这些佛像都藏在洞里面，根本看不到。最大的佛是卢舍娜大佛，它的耳朵就有一个人高。比较古老的是宾阳三洞。宾阳三洞分北、中、南三个小洞窟，其中宾阳中洞是北魏时期凿出来的，已有1500年的历史了。洞口还有皇后皇帝礼佛图，可惜被盗走了，现在只剩下一个身上全是洞洞的皇帝和一个坏掉的皇后。最宝贵的就是药方洞。洞里有120多种药方，有的还可以治疗现在的`疑难杂症呢。
第二喜欢的是黄河壶口瀑布。壶口瀑布西北边是陕西延安的宜川，东南边是山西临汾。山西到陕西只要过一个铁索桥，只不过桥下就是滚滚的黄河。一进门，就可以听到“哗啦啦”了响声，这声音很像冼星海说的：“黄河在咆哮。”瀑布溅起了百米高的水花，落在两岸上，就像在下一场长久的毛毛细雨。场面十分壮观。
这次旅游给我带来了许多的快乐，希望下次旅游可以这么美好。
