对于很多人，最难忘的那句话不是老师的教导就是父母的鼓励，而我与他们不一样，我这么多年来最难忘的话是一个好朋友对我的质疑。
一次，班主任老师说要组织一场朗诵大赛，希望同学们踊跃参加。我平时是那种不爱说话，不爱发言，成绩平平的女孩。在老师和同学的眼中我是怎么也不可能去参加班集体活动的女生。包括我的好朋友也认为我十分平凡没有那个天赋。
可是，我让他们失望了。这一次我第一个举起了我的手，我不怕他们的不屑，我只想自信地站在属于我的舞台上。
我看见了前面的女生不情愿的脸;我瞥见了旁边班长不解的表情;我听见了几个男生在一起议论嬉笑;我还看出了班主任有点微皱的眉头;甚至，我感到周围的气息都凝结了，不再是清快的味道，不再是让人热沸腾的味道，而是一团黑色的东西一点点地朝我逼进，压得我喘不过气来。直到下课，我逃命一般奔出教室，却在门口被好朋友挡住了。
我在心里祈祷：天啊!希望她是来鼓励我的!不然我说不定就放弃了。可是，她一开口就打破了我的幻想。她说：“哎呀，你还要参加朗诵比赛咧?说话声还没蚊子大呢。”我的心理防线被她击溃。我绕开她跑了，泪水在眼眶里打转。我坐在墙角沉思了半晌。我又一次站起来了，我走回教室，站在她面前对她说：“对呀!就我，我还要拿第一呢!”
不久，朗诵比赛开始了，我自信的演说获取了评委老师的高分，虽然我没得第一，也不是第二，但是我感到很满足和从没有过的快乐。在我的心里自信的萌芽正在悄悄的生长，我相信在今后的日子里，我可以走得更远，做得更好!

时间可真狡滑，趁我一不留神，便急匆匆地逃走。已度过十三个青春岁月的我，在记忆中总有一些难忘的心灵储存。
暑假里，太阳热辣辣地炙烤着大地，仿佛要把大地晒烈，白云也早已被这架势给吓得无影无踪了。这天，哥哥来到我家，想和我切磋切磋球艺，我想：正好我参加了一个篮球训练班，这回我就向哥哥展示一下我的.篮球训练成果吧。于是，我们来到了篮球场，我对哥哥说：“哥哥，我先上场表演吧!”哥哥却不动声色，我想：哥哥一定是个篮球盲，没勇气上场表演。于是，我便独自上场打起了篮球，因为在篮球训练班里我学得只是一点点皮毛而已，再加上基础不够扎实，所以刚打了一会儿便不小心扭伤了脚，痛得我直冒汗，幸亏哥哥及时赶到，把我扶到了座椅上，然后他拿起篮球向场上走云，接着便开始运球，我一看便惊呆了，哥哥用行动否定了我的猜想，他的运球如行云流水般顺畅，简直达到了炉火纯青的地步，这让我羞愧难当，脸“唰”地一下子红到了耳根……
后来，爸爸拿来了两只杯子，一只杯子里装满了水，而另一只杯子里却只有一点点水。接着，爸爸又拿出了一根筷子，分别往两只杯子上敲了几下，“怦、怦!”那只装满水的杯子发出的声音十分沉闷，不是很响，而那只只有一丁点儿水的杯子发出的声间却十分清脆而响亮，爸胜负难测意味深长地对我说：“这杯子里的水好比知识，知识越多的人就越沉默、越谦逊，而那些没有知识的人却很骄傲，发出很大的声响，所以，我希望你能记住那句话：‘虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后’。”爸爸的这句话将会永远留在我的心田里。
是的，成长的过程中，我们要谦逊，也只有这样，我们才会不断地进步，最终到达成功的彼岸。有一句话儿这样说：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。
