I earnestly hope to lead a healthy and prosperous life in the future. Judging from my aptitude inclination and personality streaks, my ideal life will be that of a scientist, researching, lecturing, and writing books. As I am from a farming family, I particularly enjoy being close to earth. If I can afford to live a pastoral life in the countryside, I will feel most blessed.
As far as social life is concerned, simplicity is what I intend to pursue, so I really don't need too many friends. All these will be mere talk if I am idle now. To attain my goal, I must make a point of training my body and mind. This is a highly competitive society in which everyone is eager to come out on top. That is not only a competition of physical strength and mental power, but a marathon of patience, faith, and perseverance.
Life is not all roses, but with what I am being equipped with by the top teachers in this elite school, I surely deserve a promising prospect.

今天是2016年的最后一天，坐在桌前等时间，“嘀嗒，嘀嗒……”时间过得好慢，它为什么与我作对，在这几天里，天天复习到不早，早上没等太阳上班就得起床，把头藏进被窝，但仍无效果，勉强拖着两条无力的双腿起床，双眼也朦朦胧胧看不清楚，好累呀!而现在，我却在等时间，我在盼望新年，我盼望新的一年的到来，因为新的一年是我的新起点，是我新的目标，我要为自已定一个高度，获得一个良好的期末成绩，才对得起我出生时的年份——兔年。
鸡年，这是个多么亲切的词呀!我度过了多少个新年，但我从来没有感到过这鸡年美好的亲切感，过新年了，也就意味着放寒假了，放寒假了也就意味着我终于可以轻轻松松的玩上一阵子了，也不用与平时要很晚睡，却又要很早起床，闹钟这个严格的管理员，一丝不拘的，不肯让我延迟。啊哈!现在可好了，我可以把闹钟电池取出，随自己睡，想睡到几点就睡到几点，随心所欲的。太棒了，太棒了，太棒了!新的一年，我期待着你，我盼望着你，盼望着快乐。

“为长者折枝，语人曰：‘我不能。’是不为也，非不能也。”孟老夫子这句精辟的论述告诉我们，真“不能”与假“不能”全决定于一个人的态度。
态度往往直接决定了一件事的后果。大学里的一堂数学课上，教授在临下课时将一道数学题抄在了黑板上。这是一道他多年解不出的难题。他告诉学生，做不出就不要勉强。恰巧有一个学生迟到了，没听见他的话。只以为黑板上的题目是作业，就抄了下来。出乎大家的意料，这位成绩并不是很优异的学生第二天竟是全班唯一做出这道题的学生。是态度创造出了这位学生和其他同学的差异，这件事值得我们每个人深思。
正确的态度与坚强，自信，智慧一样，是一个人心中贮存的一种品质。“为长者折枝”时，“不为”与“不能”之间看出一个人敬老的态度，“老吾老，以及人之老;幼吾幼，以及人之幼。”可以看出孟老夫子做人处世的态度，齐宣王虚心向孟老夫子求教治国方略，可以看出他治国的态度。
正确的态度既然是一种品质，它就不能靠一时兴起的冲动，更不能急于求成。它应渗透在我们生活的每一点一滴当中，成为我们日常生活的一部分。
正确的态度是一个人成功所必备的一种品质。成功的人大多经历过一段“瓶颈期”，所谓“瓶颈期”就是一段看似无所作为，实际上却是准备就绪，等待时机的非常关键的过程。“瓶颈期”最要命的地方就是它不知何时是头。其实许多人都经历过这种时期，可只有那些成功的人在这种时期中总保持着勤奋向上的态度，酝酿着自己的实力，也酝酿着未来。而相反有些人在这段时期中，习惯了安逸的生活，追求与进取的精神被逐渐磨去，过去所掌握的技巧与学识也慢慢退化待一直寻觅的机会从天而降时，他已无力去迎接他，把握他了。
态度决定命运。如果我们苦苦追寻的目标是一座导航灯，那么态度就是我们的交通工具。只有靠他，我们才能冲破重重困难，抵达我们心中的伊甸园。
