你看那田野里金黄色的稻谷像秋姑娘的长发，在秋风里翩翩起舞；你听那割草机声、人们的欢笑声组成的金秋交响曲；你闻那果园里散发出阵阵香甜的气味，诱人垂涎三尺。这些幸福的收获，是农民伯伯的辛勤汗水换来的。再看那莘莘学子满怀新的希望迈进理想中学，走入最高学堂，那也是历经春夏秋冬，勤奋学习而获得的.成就。秋天是个沉甸甸的季节，它满载了收获与成功，让人们开心、满足并满怀希望。
新学期伴着秋天的脚步而至，在这金色美好的季节里，我们迎着早晨的第一缕阳光，开始了五年级的征途。为了收获明年那黄橙橙的“果实”，我要在新的学年里更加地刻苦、认真、踏实、有效地学习！不辜负老师的孜孜教诲，父母的殷切希望，确定自己学习的目标，规范自身的行为习惯，脚踏实地地学习。
我新学期的目标是：
1、继续学习书法，规范自己的书写习惯。
2、利用点滴时间，多多阅读好书。提高学习效率。
3、BETS2/PET：通过，争取取得好成绩。
4、三一口语七级：通过，争取良好成绩。
5、奥数各杯赛：打个漂亮仗！
6、钢琴七级：通过，力争好成绩！
没有耕耘哪有收获，没有付出哪有所得。秋天如此美丽，只因那春天的播种、夏天的耕耘。为了明年那份令人期待的收获，现在我要神采飞扬地前进！

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I earnestly hope to lead a healthy and prosperous life in the future. Judging from my aptitude inclination and personality streaks, my ideal life will be that of a scientist, researching, lecturing, and writing books. As I am from a farming family, I particularly enjoy being close to earth. If I can afford to live a pastoral life in the countryside, I will feel most blessed.
As far as social life is concerned, simplicity is what I intend to pursue, so I really don't need too many friends. All these will be mere talk if I am idle now. To attain my goal, I must make a point of training my body and mind. This is a highly competitive society in which everyone is eager to come out on top. That is not only a competition of physical strength and mental power, but a marathon of patience, faith, and perseverance.
Life is not all roses, but with what I am being equipped with by the top teachers in this elite school, I surely deserve a promising prospect.

要去上学了！要去上学了！新学期又来临了！我又可以和我的好朋友们一起学习，一起玩了。
在新的学期里，我又升了一个年级，我已经来到了小学中段了，马上就会进入高段了，所以这个学期很重要，我一定要好好学习，争取更好的成绩。
这个学期，我要靠自己来学习，以前我总是不好好做作业，因为我认为妈妈会给我检查作业，自己只要写写字，听一听，就可以了。但作业始终要靠自己来理解，要靠自己来完成。不然就算我做出来了，也是妈妈教的，我自己还是不理解，到了考试时，我依旧做不出来，那又有什么用呢？所以，这学期，我不管怎么样，都要自己努力一把，来取得好成绩。
这个学期，我一定要改掉一些我的坏毛病，比如：粗心。粗心是我学习中的一大缺点，做作业时一定不会少了它，做数学时，我不是少算了这个，就是看错了那个，做语文时，不是看错了字，就是写了错别字。还有，我做作业时比较慢，人家已经把作业做完了，我才做了一半，人家都在做作业时，我在看手表。唉！我说也说不完我的缺点，不过，我一定会努力改正的。
新学期的到来，象征着一个新的开始，这学期我一定会好好学习，天天向上的。

这学期，从开始报名的那一天，我们就到新学校那里去上学了。说实话，大家都多么高兴啊!
在新学校里读书，既方便又安全，我们怎么不感到快乐呢?
以前，我们的旧学校不要说有围墙了，就连最简陋的厕所也没有呀!如今，这些都有了，大家再也不担心突然有牛、狗、猪和羊从操场上跑过了，大家再也不需要跑进农户的木楼底下去拉屎撒尿了，大家再也不因为排队上茅坑而常常迟到了。
就在一个星期前，我们全校师生天天都吃到了免费午餐。
于是，我们在鲜艳的五星红旗下欢笑，我们在整洁的操场上相互追逐，我们在刚刚升起的红太阳面前唱歌。
真希望，所有在新学校里学习的小朋友都能够永远进步啊!如果学习环境好了，大家的成绩也同样没有什么提高，那不就对不起祖国，对不起老师，也对不起爸爸妈妈了么?

Secondly，I insist on reading English books and newspapers every day.I also keep on oral pratice.
In my spare time,I will take an active part in activitise.I can gain the first hand imformations through the activitise which can help me to extend my knowlege.
