猫咪咪觉得这主意不错，就把鼠老弟带到后花园，找个坑，把鼠老弟埋进坑里，并培上泥土。这时猫咪咪，也累了，就在土堆边打个盹，心想已经埋严实了，睡一会会也跑不掉。
猫咪咪，刚刚合上眼，鼠老弟身子往泥土里一钻，前脚后蹄一起行动，打个洞，逃之夭夭了。
