愚公深深地叹口气说："我看你这人自以为聪明，其实是顽固不化，还不如寡妇和小孩呢！不错，我是老了，活不几年了。可是，我了还有儿子，儿子又生孙子，孙子又生儿子；子子孙孙，世世代代，一直传下去，是无穷无尽的。可是这两座山却不会再长高了，我们为什么不能把它们挖平呢！"
