妈妈告诉我，除夕是我国传统节日中最重大的节日之一。一年的最后一天叫岁除，那天晚上叫除夕。除夕夜人们往往通宵不眠，叫守岁。
今年的除夕，一家人围着一桌美味可口的饭菜一边品尝着美味佳肴，一边在谈笑风声。有的说：农村里的房子越修越好看了，公路也直通到家门口，每家每户的家用电器也开始增多了。有的说：城都的变化也很大，地铁2号线就要开通了，高楼大厦在城边也开始多起来了，天府新区也开始建设了。听着他们的谈话，我觉得伟大的祖国越来越繁荣富强了。祝愿中国这条巨龙永远屹立在世界的东方。
吃完团圆饭，爸爸带领着我们去逛大庙会。大庙会在武侯祠、锦里、南郊公园举办。跟在爸爸的身后好不容易挤进大庙会，会场里到处都是张灯接彩，人山人海，顿感喜气洋洋的节日气氛。人群中有的在说说笑笑；有的在拍照；小孩子们脸上都乐开了花。抬头望去到处都挂满了各式各样的灯笼；树木也用各色的彩灯装扮，真是流光溢彩；在灯笼和彩灯的照耀下小草也显得活泼可爱；连池塘里倒影着灯的影子，与挂着的各式灯笼相映成趣，这真是一个灯的世界。大庙会里有很多灯组。比如：光影隧道、龙灯照新年、三国漫游汇
远远地就看到关羽拿着一把锋利的大刀，站在人们面前，是那么的威风，使我想起单刀赴会中的他是如此的勇敢；你看那一手拿着羽毛扇，一手履着胡子，若有所思的不是诸葛亮思吗？草船借剑中他是多么的有智慧；那不是英俊潇洒的大都督周瑜吗？三气周郎后还是败给了诸葛亮。在这许多的灯组里，我最喜欢的还是龙灯照新年，因为这组龙灯制作得活灵活现，在灯光的照射下，像似腾云驾雾般在空中飞腾，我喜欢这组龙灯还因为我们是龙的传人，龙是像争着吉祥和幸福。大庙会的灯已让我看得眼花缭乱了，早已盼望着那激动人心的一刻放烟花。
回到家里，家人们忙着抬上早以准备好的烟花和爆竹，到楼下的空地去燃放，这时空地已经有许多人在那里燃放着了。啪！哦好漂亮！烟花升上了天空，像似无数条火龙，箭一般冲入夜空，又在半空中炸响，这条火龙瞬间变成了无数的光点向四周散开，像是盛开的花朵，那些光点便是它的花瓣，随即散落下来。这一片熄灭了，哪一片又盛开了。此起彼伏，争相斗艳。这些黄色的、红色的、青色的花照亮了夜空，好一个花的海洋。夜空里的烟花还没看够呢，四处就同时响起震耳欲聋的鞭炮声，我用双手捂住耳朵，逃似的一下钻进妈妈的怀抱，在妈妈的掩护下冒着枪林弹雨跑回了家。

大年三十早，人们贴上了吉庆的.春联，辞旧迎新的工作是算做了一半。时间过得真慢啊，好不容易等到了夜幕降临的时候，团圆饭也拉开了序幕。
“菜齐啦！”妈妈端着年年有余的“鱼”上了桌。桌上满是佳肴，香气扑鼻，我们一家人端坐在桌前，边吃饭边说贺年词，好不热闹！
吃完了团圆饭，八点直播的春节联欢晚会也快到了。我迫不及待地坐在电视机前，等待着播放。开播了！那滑稽逗趣的小品，满怀激情的演唱，风趣幽默的相声，美伦美焕的舞蹈……种种节目五花八门，看得我眼花缭乱。
守岁是除夕夜的传统习俗。等待新年的钟声敲响，时针走向12时，我立刻拿起早已准备好的烟花爆竹，冲出门外，急不可待地要让我的烟花闪耀夜空。在爸爸的帮助下，我点燃了烟花。只听一声响，一个光点飞向空中，“轰”地炸开了，如同一朵娇艳的火玫瑰，装饰了夜空。在这辞旧迎新的时刻，家家户户都出来放鞭炮，顷刻间，夜空变成了百花园，开满朵朵鲜花，有黄色的艳菊，紫色的丁香，洁白的百合……仰望天空，烟花好似流星雨一样从空中滑落下来。除夕夜的天空宛如美丽画卷一般。
放完鞭炮回到家，我虽很疲惫，但却怎么也睡不着，心中充满了喜悦……
除夕这一天我过得很开心。
