从前，在山林里住着一个力大无比的大恶魔，每隔一天要吃掉一只鸡，每隔两天要吃掉一只羊，每隔三天就要吃掉一头牛，而且稍不如意，就拔树毁屋，周围寨子里的百姓敢怒不敢言。
有一只勇敢的蚂蚁决心为百姓们出口气。他找到大恶魔，小心翼翼的说：“你虽然力大无比，却不一定是我的对手！不信咱们打个赌！”
小小蚂蚁居然敢向自己挑战！哈哈，大恶魔狂笑一声，说：“赌就赌，赌什么你说吧！”
小蚂蚁说：“我让你用脚踩我100下，如果踩不我，你就离开着片山林；如果我了，也不用你赔偿。”
大恶魔听了觉得可笑，心想：我能一把推倒一棵大树，一脚踹翻一间房子，一拳砸扁一头大象，怎么可能战胜不了一只小的蚂蚁呢？就一口答应下来。
第二天，赌局正式开始，山林里的动物和人们都来看热闹，都为小蚂蚁捏了一把汗。
只见大恶魔伸出一只巨大的爪子，抓起小蚂蚁就狠狠地往地上一摔，结果小蚂蚁不但安然无恙，而且还继续在地上欢快的爬来爬去。
大恶魔恼羞成怒，有抬起他毛茸茸的大脚，对着小蚂蚁使劲的踩了起来，一下、二下、三下，一直踩到100多下。大恶魔心想小蚂蚁肯定了，低头一看，居然发现小蚂蚁从他宽大的脚掌下爬了出来。
小蚂蚁赢得了胜利，大恶魔乖乖地离开了山林。
