在今年的暑假期间，我在楼下看了看水表，我不禁大叫起来：“三十九吨！”想：真是不看不知道，一看吓一跳呀。我上楼便忙问：“妈，一吨水多少钱？” 妈妈疑惑的问：“你们这干什么呢？”我说：“好奇嘛。”妈妈说：“一吨水有两元六毛吧，唉现在水价越来越贵喽。”我点点头，便跑到一边去算。“呀！这水可真贵呢！”我想可能是地球的水正在急剧减少水价钱才会越来越高。我们应该节约才是。
节约一滴水、一度电，少用一张纸、一个塑料袋，少砍一棵树等等，这些都是节约的行为。人人应该要低碳生活。随着现代科技日新月异，生活水平不断提 高，人们享受着新科带来的种种欢乐。回头看看我的身后，已是无穷无尽的环境污染。小河不再清澈，天空也不再蔚蓝。环保，已是迫在眉睫。我们共同生活在这个 地球上，爱护我们的家园是每一个人共同的责任。也许你会说，我只是一个普通人，我不能左右化工企业的污染排放，也没能力去阻止那些尾气排放超标的汽车上路，对于环保，我真的无能为力。其实，当你真正的认识环保的重要性，你会发现环保就在身边，我们可以通过身边一些小事做起，将我们的环保热情汇集，同样会产生无穷的力量。
虽然我现在做得只不过是一些微小的事，但是我坚信要是我们人人都有保护环境的责任心，从自己做起，从小事做起，携手保护我们的家园，自然会给人类应有的回报。在温摇篮——草原上小憩；在慈祥的笑脸——天空下成长，在爱的源泉——河流中沐浴。

They don't realize that wasting time is actually equal to killing themselves. They always regret not having made great achievements. One of the reasons may be they do not make good use of time. Therefore, in order to be successful, they should first get into the habit of being on time. It’s a sign of cherishing time. Don't put off what can be done today until tomorrow. Being lazy will eventually lead to failure. Don't wait, because you don't know how long it will take when you put off your plan.
