壮壮是一头生活在贫穷山村里的小毛驴。他每天的`工作就是帮村里人拉磨。虽然，壮壮很辛苦，可是每当大家夸他能干的时候，他就觉得自己是天底下最幸福的小毛驴。
有一天，老村长交给壮壮一个艰巨的任务，他去城里送面粉。进了城里的壮壮，就像刘姥姥进大观园一样，东张西望，眼睛都不够用了。他看见了高高耸立的大厦，看见了平坦宽阔的马路，还看见了能指挥交通的红绿灯，这一切是多么的新鲜、神奇。正当壮壮欣赏着从来没见过的风景时，忽然，一辆装满了面粉的大卡车，从他身边飞驰而过。壮壮心想：村里每年举办运动会，我都能拿到赛跑的冠军，我一定能比这个“大怪物”跑得快!壮壮飞快地追了上去，可是没跑多久，就败下阵来，累得直喘粗气。没想到自己这个赛跑冠军会输得这么惨，望着“大怪物”绝尘远去的身影，壮壮陷入了深思——就在壮壮垂头丧气的时候，他忽然想起来，老村长交给自己的任务还没完成呢!壮壮拔腿就往面粉厂跑去，厂长热情地接待了他，还带着他参观了制作面粉的车间。

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading and writing, but did not do well in listening and speaking. I helped them improve their listening and speaking.
