the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.

then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.

“搬新家喽！”

我们终于搬出了那三间低矮破旧、阴暗潮湿的小屋，搬进了新农村居民住宅楼。

走进社区大门，只见一幢幢住宅楼拔地而起，整齐地排列着，红色的墙，白色的窗，倍儿精神。

来到属于我们的那一单元门前，打开防盗门，轻轻地推开内门，我的眼前豁然开朗，“哇——好大、好漂亮嗷”我像刘姥姥进了大观园，傻了。我挨间的串，客厅、卧室、厨房、卫生间一应俱全。客厅紧靠着阳台，阳光透过落地大玻璃窗射进来，使整个客厅充满了光明、温暖和舒适。

帮妈妈整理好房间我飞快地跑下楼去，在新家园里转了一圈。这里的卫生条件可真好啊，一丁点儿垃圾都看不到。一面面墙像擦洗过一样。不用说住在这里，就是看一看，也让人感到舒服、敞亮。

这里有医院、幼儿园、小学、超市、老年活动中心、青少年活动中心，简直像个小城市。超市里各种日用品琳琅满目。老年活动中心里，人们有的在跳舞，有的在唱戏，有的在健身，还有的在打牌。别看这些爷爷奶奶年纪大，舞姿还挺优美的。一个个悠闲自在，其乐融融。青少年活动中心却又是另一番景象。这里有篮球场、单杠、双杠等，最引人注目的是那个长方形的大游泳池，池水清澈见底，还有人在水里游泳呢。可惜我不会游泳，只能站在岸上羡慕地看着他们像鱼儿一样快活地游着。

“乒乒，乓乓……”咦，有人在打乒乓球，在哪儿呢？我循着声音来到体育活动室，里面并排放着三张球台，大理石台面光滑平整，上面漆着绿色油漆。两个比我大些的男生正在拼，我真想上去打上几板，因为乒乓球是我最喜欢的运动。由于和他们不熟，我没好意思上。

走出体育活动室，对面是棋室，里面有围棋、象棋、五子棋、军旗跳棋等等，这里座无虚席，但里面鸦雀无声，人们全神贯注地注视着棋盘，像参加比赛一样。

我边走边看，边想，新农村就是好，看病、上学、购物、健身、娱乐不出社区门口，太方便了，政府为老百姓想的.真周到。正想着，我感到内急，急忙找厕所，可怎么也找不到，对面来了一位老奶奶，我迎上前去：“奶奶，哪有厕所呀？”奶奶笑呵呵地说：“傻小子，厕所在自家的屋里呀，外面是找不到厕所的。”对呀，我怎么把这茬儿忘了呢？谢过奶奶，我撒腿就往家跑，可是两条腿像灌了铅似的，怎么也迈不动步，我一着急醒了，原来是做了一个梦。

不过，我坚信，在政府的大力支持下，美梦一定会成真的，我们邻村的新农村建设不已经开始了吗？我期待着这一天早日到来！

I had a summer holiday from Jule to August.I was very happy ,because I could da many kinds of things.

I went to the beach and I swam in the sea.I called my friend and played with them.I visitde my grandparents and ate much delicious food.But in August,there is a first tyhoon.With terrifying fear and my mother bought some food.I was very unhappy,because I could not played out side.

Then I went to the zoo whit my sister.I was very happy.Because I saw a lot of animals.They were very lovable.So I took photos of all animals.I loved the butterful the best.They were colourful and beautiful.My sister liked it too.

In summer holiday,I went to the places where the sun shines brightly.I went to where the see is blue too.All students had a happy summer holiday.

每当我出门上学，总会闻到一股从小河里散发出来的酸臭味，在以前，这条河清澈见底，常常能看见小鱼小虾在河里嬉戏的情景，而现在呢，这条河就像一碗大厦杂烩，水面上，臭袜子、零食袋、垃圾袋的身影随处可见，河水浑浊不清，真的要什么有什么啊。马路上，到处是嘈杂的汽车鸣笛声，犹如一首五音不全刺耳的交响曲，从车子里、工厂里排出来的废气充满了整个大气层，村名们无法呼吸到新鲜清新的空气，严重影响着人们的身体健康，各种疾病也随之而来，真是饱受折磨啊……

生活在这样的环境里，我心里甭提有多难受了，我常常在想，要是现在的环境能像在我心中的美好景象那样，那该有多好啊！

每天早晨起床一打开窗户，一缕清风就会迎面来，闻到的'是一股清新的空气，里面充满了花儿的芳香，我甚至还感觉到了晨露的滋润……

顿时，我心矿神怡，信步走出家门，犹如踏在一块柔软而舒适的绿地毯上，那是纯天然的草坪，里面还时不时地点缀着那些不知名儿的小花：黄的、红的、白的……一丛丛，一朵朵，有的含苞欲放，有的争奇斗艳，犹如给绿色的地毯绣上了一朵朵五彩缤纷的小花，真是美不胜收啊！

不一会儿，一缕缕金色的阳光撒向绿色的大地，照耀在小花的叶子上，晶莹透亮的露珠滚来滚去，好像一颗颗闪闪发光的珍珠，美丽极了！小鸟唱着歌儿在草坪两旁的大树里飞来飞去，门前的那条小河里，小鱼儿时不时的探出小脑袋来和我打招呼，里面的水草随着清澈的流水轻轻地飘动着，到处都是生机勃勃的景象。这时再也看不见垃圾了，空气里的灰尘早已无形无踪，汽车经过，听到的不再刺耳的喇叭声，而是悦耳动听的乐曲声，路边的加油站没了，因为汽车已不再需要燃油了，它们充分利用太阳能的功能作为动力，驰聘在宽广的马路上，人们再也不用受废气的折磨了。来到学校，校门有感应功能会自动打开，等我走进校园后又会自动关上，您不知道了吧，我们每个学生的学生证里面都有一种芯片，只要它在接近校门的时候都会感应装在校门上的自动感应器，因而校门会自动打开，但如果没有学生证是进不去的，这样就可以防止坏人进入学校了，确保学校的安全了。

这就是我心目中的美好家园，是一个美丽又环保的乐园，是一个到处都充满了欢声笑语的娱乐场所，是一个高科技的研究院，更是一个人人向往的世外桃园。虽然这只是我的一个梦想，但是我相信，只要从我做起，从我身边的每一个人做起，保护好我们身边的环境，爱护好身边的一草一木，我相信，我心中的美好家园在不久的将来就会变成现实。

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.

actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.

so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
