那是一个夏天，太阳洗净了平时的尘埃，尽其所能地炙烤着大地，但我和小伙伴们却不畏炎热，出发了！
清清的河水一点也不亚于游泳池里的`一潭碧波，我们穿着短衣短裤，“扑通”“扑通”地钻入小河的怀抱，我们从东到西游了半圈，便悠闲地游了起来。
忽然，佳杰叫了起来：“看，西瓜！”哇，河边一片绿浪在风中跳起了舞，正向我们挥手呢！我们心里有点痒痒了，想去摘一个下来解解渴。问题是：一个老伯正坐在那里，眼睛对四周进行着“大扫荡”大有“一夫当关，万夫莫开”的气势。
可我们这几个村里出了名的“淘气王子”顾不上那么多，聚到一块，商量了一下，“好，就这么办！”我们钻进河底掏出一把把淤泥往身上抹，没一会儿，我们就成了几条“泥鳅”只留下溜溜转的眼睛，我望着你，你望着我。都笑了。
我们的“头儿”先轻轻上了岸，爬到西瓜边，把一只大西瓜扭了下来，我们排成一条，想接力似的把西瓜往下传，我在最后接应，可能是心虚吧，西瓜掉进水里，“扑通”一声把老伯吓了一跳，环顾四周，我们立刻低下头，潜伏在土里。老伯见没人，又躺在了睡椅上。
我们不一会儿就消灭了西瓜，河面恢复了平静……
我现在还时时想起那条小河，时时想起那片瓜地，时时想起那些可爱的小伙伴……
