为使孩子度过一个安全、愉快、有意义的假期，学校希望家长予以密切配合，切实履行好未成年人的监护人职责，在此，我们向家长提出几点建议：
一、暑假放假时间长，天气热，不安全因素增多，家长们忙碌的同时，一定注意您孩子的安全。
1、交通安全。 暑假期间，人车流量猛增，道路上不安全隐患增多，家长要注重对孩子的交通安全知识教育，督促孩子不要在马路上玩耍，或互相追逐、打闹，不准骑自行车、摩托车，不准乘坐三无车辆和机动三轮车。
2、消防安全。暑假期间孩子在家时间较多，众多的家电也都会被启用，如电扇、空调、冰箱、电视、电脑等，由于孩子操作不规范或产品质量差，极容易发生触电等安全事故。家长们要抽出时间对家里的电器进行全面的检测，对有安全隐患或质量不过关的电器，进行维修或更换。教育孩子在家不乱碰开关插座，不要用湿抹布抹带电插座。要教会孩子遇到突发消防事故时处理和报警的方法。
3、防火安全教育 时刻紧记“隐患险于明火，防范胜于救灾，责任重于泰山”的教诲，防止煤气涉漏或空气不流通而造成的煤气中毒事件。火柴、打火机等引火物，不要让孩子接触或携带，大人上班或外出时要叮嘱孩子不能玩火，避免玩火成灾，造成伤亡。
4、饮食安全。暑假期间正值炎热季节，应注意子女饮食卫生。不喝生水，不吃变质、腐烂的东西，以防疾病的发生。
5、游泳安全。溺水身亡事故，每年暑假在各地都有发生。教育孩子坚决不要到水库、水渠、鱼塘、河滩和不熟悉、无安全保障的水域玩耍游泳。家长应教会孩子一些简单游泳知识和自救知识，遇到同伴落水千万不要拉手自救。
6、防雷安全。教会孩子一些常见的防雷避雷知识，比如，雷雨时应留在室内，关好门窗，不宜使用水龙头和电视、音响等电器，减少使用电话和手机，远离树木桅杆，远离电线杆。
7、网络安全教育 暑假期间将是孩子上网的高峰期。网络对孩子的正负面影响是巨大的，家长们应该对孩子上网给予关注和必要的指导，指导孩子要充分利用互联网促进学习、开阔视野；绝对不浏览不健康网页；不要沉迷于玩电子游戏，不要参与网上赌博行为；不要看反动言论和参与讨论。引导孩子养成文明上网，上文明网的好习惯，并要杜绝孩子在暑假期间到网吧上网。
8、旅游安全。孩子外出旅游时一定要有大人陪同。不与陌生人搭话，未成年学生不得离开家长的监护视线范围外独立活动。
