在这座太阳城里，人们家里使用的电器都是由太阳能供应的，有太阳能炉、太阳能微波炉、太阳能电视等，都是一样的。在每家每户的厨房里，都没有了呛人的油烟，空气清新，厨房里的太阳能抽油烟机能把厨房里所有的油烟都抽进废气处理厂，居民们呼吸的空气也就没有危害了。居民们的楼顶都装有太阳能板，这些太阳能板把太阳能搜集起来，供居民们使用，用不完的太阳能就储藏到地下室的太阳能储蓄炉里，需用时再用。
在街道上，到处都是飞行汽车，这些飞行汽车无油烟，无废气，是环保型的'飞行汽车。街道两旁的房子各式各样，有西瓜形的、飞机形的、半圆形的、菱形的等，让人眼花缭乱，还有人把房子做成了向日花形的，还会跟着太阳转呢！
在我家里，爸爸去出差，妈妈去其他城市工作，所以只有我一个人在家里，他们就帮我聘请了一个机器人保姆，来照顾我的日常生活。这个机器人保姆叫艾丝，也是由太阳能为能源的机器人，她很能干，把家里照顾得井井有条。每次做饭菜，都做得美味无比，让我感觉它好像妈妈。每当我早上起床晚时，它就立刻把我叫醒，叫我刷牙、洗脸、换衣服、吃早餐、上学，如果实在来不及了，它就从铁皮肚子里变出一根弹簧，“噔”的一下把我“发射”到学校里去。
