今天是英语开放周的第一天。早上八点钟，我们三至六年级的'老师和同学们按顺序入场。大家都在耐心的等待着。八点三十分，几辆小轿车缓缓地驶进校园。顿时，操场上一片欢呼，人头涌动。哇！三位高大的、黄头发、白皮肤、蓝眼睛的外籍英语教师在我校领导的陪同下进场。场上的哨声、鼓掌声混成一片，同学们使劲地挥动着手中的吹起棒，对外教的热情难以言表，只好用力地挥异口同声地喊问好声响彻云霄。外教也很有理貌地向我们挥手打招呼。
九点正的讲座开始了。三位外教逐一登场，他们用标准流利的英语作了自我介绍。他们都来自美国纽约，其中一位还获得了博士的学位。三位外教教我们学英语，还从舞台上走下来，把麦克风对准同学们，让我们跟着他一起读，一起说，一起讲。他听着我们读，还时不时竖起大拇指同学们多么想大声喊啊！紧跟着老师拿起吉他弹起来，我们也情不自禁地跟着唱起来！这时，我们在场的师生的心情无比激动，难以用语言表达。
不知不觉，近两个小时的活动就要结束了，我跑上舞台有礼貌的用英语邀请外教与我合影。
今天，是我最难忘的一天，也是我最快乐的一天。外教让我明白了，“英语是通往世界的桥樑。”平时要多讲英语，才能熟熊巧生。
