有人说，尊重是一坛上等的女儿红，未饮其酒就已先闻其香；有人说，尊重是一株芝兰，清香四溢，感染你我他；也有人说，尊重是一杯清茶，只有真正懂它的人才能忽略它的寡淡，品出它深处的热烈；我说，尊重就是空气，无时无刻都不能逝去它。
但是，不知是从何时起，“尊重”这个词竟一点一点地从我的脑海里消失了，直到有一天。
那天，我和几个伙伴走在路上，说说笑笑，不亦乐乎，青春的朝气在我们的举手投足间蓬勃，阳光洒在我身上，暖暖的，有点飘飘欲仙。然而，就在这时，走来了一位环卫工人，她看上去很年轻，头戴一顶凉帽，身穿一套略有泥浆的桔红色制服，手上戴一双因污垢而有些发黑的白手套，拿着一只黑色塑料袋，在草丛中寻找着什么。
我看着她，一脸不屑地大声对伙伴们说道：“哼，看来还真得好好学习啊！要我到大街上捡垃圾，我非得羞愧而。”“不，要是我的话我直接撞墙了！”小秋似乎很赞同。“哈哈哈……”我夸张地笑了起来。
那位环卫工人的手在空中停了一下，很快又垂了下去。她抬起头盯着我，压得低低的帽檐让她的眼睛很深邃，仿佛永远也看不透。我也微微昂起头，不甘示弱的盯着她，只见她的嘴唇稍稍动了动，好想要说些什么，但是她什么也没说，只是向我撇了撇嘴，意味深长的看了我一眼，又低下头，继续寻找着垃圾的踪影。“哼”我冷笑了一声，心里却觉得不是个滋味——我在她的眼神里，明显看到了一种尖刻的讽刺。
我和伙伴们走在路上，眼前不断地浮现着那位环卫工人鄙夷的神情，顿时觉得胸口蒙蒙的，像有只脏兮兮的苍蝇在胸腔里嗡嗡飞转，我突然感到后悔了，我后悔自己竟如此狂妄的将别人的尊严踩在脚下！
方圆老师说：不要去无知地嘲弄别人，不要去肤浅地歧视别人。一个人若总是送给他人奚落，终将失去自己的尊严。是啊，一个不懂得尊重他人的人，要么是因为无知，要么就是缺乏教养，想想看，究竟是谁失掉了宝贵的尊严？是我，幼稚的我。
康延说：尊严是山，尊严是水。我总叫嚣着要得到尊重，要有尊严，却没有发现只有尊重才能换来尊重；只有自已不笑别人，别人也不笑自己才叫做有尊严。
我突然好想向那位环卫工人道歉，我要告诉她：“谢谢，因为你，我明白了什么是尊重……”
尊重是相互的，你付出多少，别人就给你多少，就好像空气，吸进去了还要再吐出来。
从那天起，我真正的学会了尊重。

今天，我帮爸爸做许多家务，心里感到十分愉快。

经过翻箱倒柜的整理，桌椅终于整理好，不过地板可是个大问题，地板上有各种各样的尘土、纸屑、垃圾、这可把我累坏，由于我们家是在太大、害得我整理半个多小时，呜呜。
经过和垃圾的一番斗争后，我终于把他们全部消灭，屋子里焕然一新，我实在太开心！

尊重别人，是维系和谐关系的一条纽带。有一年，外国使者来访中国。周恩来总理带着他们几个到处参观，介绍着中国的悠久历史以及未来的发展，但有些外国使者常常不怀好意，总想损一损当时还比较落后的中国。其中有一位外国使者说道：“有件事情我很是不解，我看中国人走路总是眼睛看着地下走路，而我们美国人都是昂着头向前走。”这明显是一种挑衅，也是对我们国家和人民的一种不尊重。周总理不卑不亢而面带微笑地回敬道：“那是因为美国人正在走下坡路，而我们中国人正在走上坡路。”顿时，一阵冷寂和尴尬，那位外国使者哑口无言，他不得不佩服周总理的睿智。周总理的回答，既给予对方以回击，又维护了我们的尊严。从这个故事中我们得到一个启发，要维持一种和谐的关系，你必须学会尊重别人，这样别人才会尊重你。
