我觉得你说的都是对的。一个人最终能取的哪种程度上的成功取决于这个人的基本人格和特性，不是取决于他的出身和教育。中国父母都望子成龙，这是好的，但是在理解上有一定的偏差。很多人花重金让孩子接受最好的教育，让孩子从小一路名牌学校过来。这当然会对孩子以后的成功有很大的帮助，但是绝对不是孩子能取得何种成功的决定力量。在北美的中国人之中，有很多都是中国前几名大学毕业的，在学校的时候都很优秀，但是毕业之后他们中的很多人一辈子也是过一种普通生活。这中间的主要原因我想还是这些人的人格或品性有一定问题吧！这中间的很多人的志向并没有那么高，心胸也没有那么开阔。他们毕业之后很容易安于一种稳定的生活。学校里的成功根本不能保证以后在社会上的成功，学业的成功主要是归结于一个人的勤奋和智力，而在社会上的成功往往需要更多的优秀品格，比如眼见，坚韧，心胸豁达等等。一个在学校里表现平平的人出了社会后却很成功，这一点都不奇怪，这仅仅是因为在学校的评价体系下，他的一些优秀品质不能被反映出来，反之也是类似的`。
回到你指出的城市和农村教育质量上的差异上来。过去20年来，由于城乡经济上的差距扩大，基础教育的差距也越来越大。在教育质量上农村已经根本不可能跟城市比较，这在名牌大学里农村学生的比例上已经反映出来了。我上大学的时候，大概有30%以上的农村学生，现在好一点的学校都是低于20%了。这些现象对于出生于农村的学生是很不利的，但是如果你能接受我说的“人的成功主要取决于其基本人格和品性”，那么情况也没有想像的那么差，因为培养孩子优秀的人格和品性并不需要很多金钱和良好的学校教育。农村的父母尽管不可能象城市的父母一样给于孩子一个很良好的学校教育和社会环境，但是这不是说他们不能培养一个孩子优秀的人格和品性，他们至少可以给孩子一个良好的家庭环境，而家庭环境恰恰对孩子的人格和品性影响最大。所以在目前的情况下，农村家庭应该更加注重孩子的一些优秀品质的培养，花更多的时间和孩子在一起。这样，尽管孩子在以后的人生中会遭受一些挫折，但是从长远来看，他还是依然能够成功的。所以，从逻辑上来说，农村出生的孩子并不是一定不能成才的。
王超，这封信也是写给你的。尽管你在高中的时候成绩不是最出类拔萃的，但是如果你能够深刻理解我这封信的话，你还是有机会能超过你高中的很多同学和校友。如果你能够在大学四年能够做到以下的事情，我想你的前途会很辉煌：a具有渊博的知识，最很多社会问题，人生发展有一套自己的哲学体系（比如，一个人成功的要素是什么？中国为什么要实行社会主义社会？如何评价历史发展？），b）具体比较好的专业技能，c良好的人际关系技巧，（比如如何和能力不如我的人相处？又如何和能力比我强的人相处？）d比较好的语言演讲能力，这是和第一点相关的。一个人演讲能力不强主要原因是两点：1）没有思想，不知道该讲些什么，2）语言组织能力不强，不知道该如何讲话。这里面第一点是主要的，如果你很有思想，你自然会有交流的，而交流多了，表达你自己的思想多了，你的语言组织能力自然会提高。这也是为什么在你目前阶段我一直要求你多看书的原因。

微博发出去之后气却没消：如此低劣和不值一驳的伪教育家们为何如此大行其道，甚至还被追捧呢？
郁闷时，收到了一本书，《赞美你——给女儿的信》，随手翻来，十几分钟就使我上了一堂生动的家教课，也使我得出了这样的结论：美国总统给女儿的信是真正的家教。
这本书是美国总统给女儿的十几封信的合集，其中涉及到的有创造力、聪明、勇敢、心灵医者、坚强、善良、不放弃、大家庭一分子、善于激励他人等等。仅是这些理念的传播已经让我心动了。我们有多少家教的书，有多少专家真正给过读者这些理念？我们咀嚼不止的是成功、优秀、成才，顶多加个空洞无物的爱心，我们家教的具体目标就是上清华北大和当富翁，或者就是云里雾里的伟大和崇高，不要说孩子，大人都摸不着门儿，遑论感受、体验、思考和提升啊。

我们的图书尤其是关于家教的图书甚多，可是我们太功利了，大人成功、孩子成功、全中国都梦想着成功，上清华北大是成功、当官发财是成功，无论什么只要成为人上人就是成功。具象到如此可怕的程度，哪里还有真正的成功可言！

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
