长城，又称万里长城。长城东起辽宁虎山，西至甘肃嘉峪关，是中国古代军事防御工程。长城是中华人民骄傲的象征。
“不到长城非好汉！”今天，我们万里迢迢的终于来到了仰慕已久的八达岭长城脚下，壮观的景象让人惊叹不以，远远望去长城就像一条矫健的巨龙，蜿蜒盘踞在崇山峻岭之巅，突然七个大字“不到长城非好汉”出现在我的面前，我兴奋的说：“我不是来了吗！”妈妈来了一句：“别急，你先爬上长城再说。”我不屑的回了一句：“不信你就看着，我肯定比你都厉害。”说着我步伐轻盈的.三步并作两步跑到了最前面，长城上的砖已经很破旧，地砖更是凹凸不平，中间很明显的陷下去了，感觉走起路一不小心就会摔跤。前面的路面更是倾斜陡峭起来，趴起来有点费劲！我不时的得赶紧扶着城墙，小心翼翼的往前走，突然前面的游客不小心把矿泉水瓶子掉到地上，瓶子翻着跟头快速的滚落下来，我赶紧弯腰捡起递给了那位游客，我们互相笑了笑继续前进。时间一分一秒的流逝，我们不停的前行着，也不时的停下来吃吃东西、趴在城墙上休息休息，天啦！向下看去，墙体有好几米高，我不尽想到，古代没有任何机械的情况下，他们是怎么完成这么一项伟大的工程呢？而我只是徒步而已，长的好像永远走不到尽头……一阵阵风吹过凉爽无比，偶然传来几声鸽子的鸣叫，我瞬间感到我们现在生活的有多么幸福！“快走啊”妈妈的一句呐喊，把我的思绪拉了回来。“妈妈，我实在不想走了，长城到底有多长啊？什么时候才能走到尽头？”我有气无力的说到。任凭他们咋叫我走我都不在动一步，妈妈说“那你在长城脚下说的大话呢？哈哈……”恰时，满天乌云遮住了整个天空，有人喊道：“不好，暴雨就要来临，赶快下城”我们匆匆忙忙的走上了下城的路线。
经过了这次的八达岭长城之旅，我深深领会到古人的智慧、勤劳的双手和不易，向你们鞠躬！长城不愧为世界伟大的建筑奇迹之一。万里长城——你是中华民族的骄傲！

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.
