暑假我去长城作文英语【一】
“不到长城非好汉”这句话大家一定很熟悉，这是毛泽东主席爬长城时写下的一句话。其实呀，早在两岁的时候我就爬过金山岭长城了，如此说来我早就是好汉了。但是，毕竟还太小，那时的情景我已经记不住了。今年7月13日的这一天，我又登上了长城，巩固了我的好汉地位。
这次我登上的长城名叫八达岭长城，因为他四通八达，所以有了这样的一个名字。八达岭长城非常险峻，我在长城脚下时本以为很好爬的，但是一到了山上有时是简直爬不上去的斜坡;有时是又是你刹车刹不住的斜坡;又有时是往左边或右边斜的角度……险的地方真是说也说不清楚。
长城和长江、黄河一样，也是我们中华民族的象征，听说宇航员站在月球上用肉眼看地球，能看到的人类建筑就是中国的长城和埃及的.金字塔，看我们的长城有多伟大啊!长城最早修筑于周朝，我们都听说过周朝的周幽王为了博得爱妃褒姒的一笑而烽火戏诸候的故事，以及秦朝孟姜女为寻找去的丈夫而哭倒长城的故事。通过秦以后历代的修筑，达到了延绵一万二千余里的规模。长城是由沟壕、烽火台、墙体等组合而成。在我国古代长城的作用主要是防御北方少数民族的侵扰，保障北部边疆的安宁。古诗中就有“烽火连三月，家书抵万金”的说法。到了清代，中华民族进一步融合，长城的防御作用也就逐渐消失了。今天，长城成为了中国的旅游热点，每年都有很多外国人到中国游览万里长城，带动了中国的旅游事业及对外的文化交流。

万里长城是我国古代劳动人民创造的伟大的奇迹，是中国悠久历史的见证。它与天安门，兵马俑一起被世人视为中国的象征。同时，长城于1987年12月被列为世界文化遗产。
万里长城伫立在宽阔的城垣上，极目远望。在广阔的天宇下，这古老的砖墙随着群山万壑绵延伸展，跌宕起伏。那高大的城堡，有的像奋起的勇士，傲视长空;有的像沉思的巨人，默对苍穹。万里长城有三条巨龙：一条是群山的巨龙，一条是长城的巨龙，还有一条是人流的巨龙。三龙交叠：那青灰色的巨龙伏在翠绿跌宕的巨龙之上，而五颜六色的巨龙则在灰龙上缓缓蠕动。近处，用大块花岗岩条石和灰色城砖砌成的城墙，很少风化，依然坚固，白色的灰浆线条清晰可见。年屹立于此的长城，你是生命的记录，历史的见证。
长城你我们祖先的智慧和力量的结晶，是我们中华人民的骄傲!长城，我为你自豪!

I went to the beach and I swam in the sea.I called my friend and played with them.I visitde my grandparents and ate much delicious food.But in August,there is a first tyhoon.With terrifying fear and my mother bought some food.I was very unhappy,because I could not played out side.

暑假，我和奶奶、姑姑、姐姐一起来到北京游玩，今天我们要去游八达岭长城。
在去长城的路上，我的心情非常激动，我一直听说不到长城非好汉，我今天能不有做一个好汉呢?我们来到了长城脚下，从山下望见长城就像一条巨龙蜿蜒在连绵起伏的山岭上，看上去十分地壮观、雄伟、高大。
天气虽然依然很热，但是没有打消我们爬八达岭长城兴奋劲儿。我们开始登山了，长城真陡呀，仿佛一不小心就会栽倒下去，我们小心翼翼地往上爬，终于我们爬上了一座烽火台，迫不及待地爬上顶楼。举目四望，果然百闻不如一见。我们越向高走，坡就越斜，终于走到了最高的那一个烽火台。看见了“好汉”俩字。我眺望着这座万里长城，脑海中不禁浮现出这样一幅场景：一群群身强力壮的男子汉，挑着几百斤的砖块，奋力地往上走着，在山顶上，无数的工匠们正在砌砖。从我们脚下一直延伸到山海关，一座座烽火台上士兵们站在风雪中眺望着北方敌人，守卫着坚不可破的长城。
游玩的时间到了，我们依依不舍的告别了长城。

遥望远方，长城前不见头后不见尾，顺着山脊一直延伸到天边。长城两侧一片翠绿，显得庄重美丽。广场上的汽车向甲虫一样，聚集在一起，房屋、行人都小了许多。长城上，中外游客形成一股人流，不断掀起层层人狼，涌进远方……
长城显得那样沉静、那样庄严。他像一条蜿蜒的巨龙卧在连绵起伏的崇山峻岭上。当时我的心情也受长城的熏陶变得如此沉静。
我随着“人浪”登上长城。我的脚一部部落在那坚实的城转上，想着古代人民劳动的情景;我的手一次次触摸到那凹凸不平的条石，内心是如此的感谢，感谢那些古代劳动者的劳动;我的眼睛一次次看到那苍凉而稳重的灰色，我的心里不由自主的一次又一次感到震撼。那饱经风霜的条石、城砖，布满了或深或浅的痕迹，似乎再向人诉说着长城辉煌的历史，让我去深深的、细细的感受……
短暂而别有深意的的一天，就这样渡过。我心满意足，因为我领略了古代劳动人民的心，我觉得今天是我竖起生后最丰富的一天。
