mr. xxxxx took my management science courses last year and quickly demonstrated his proficiency in learning and applying analytical methods. he exhibited a great thirst for learning and always sought alternative solutions to problems by deepening and expanding his knowledge, often going well beyond course requirements. his assignments, exams, personal inquiries and performance in class discussions demonstrated considerable prowess in dealing with quantitative issues. although i cannot say that he was the best student i have ever taught, i certainly appreciate his attitude and cannot help but applaud his effort and ability.

In the capacity of the former dean of "Dalian Management School" of Dalian University of Technology(DUT, I am writing with pleasure to recommend Mr. Cai to your esteemed university. I got to know him personally when he was taking the course--Methodology of Management Research (or Methods of Management as stated in his transcripts, a course I taught, concerning basic research methods, especially quantitative approach to management research. Then he took one of my other courses--Advanced Strategic Management. Mr. Caleb showed great aptitude on both courses and he got 78 on both, which seem a bit lower, but if you take the difficulty of the test papers and my strict grading into account, you will understand why such scores are still among the top five. Undoubtedly, he got excellent scores on other courses and ranked among the top 5% of his class after the first year of graduate study.
To my knowledge, Mr. Cai is not only strong in academics, but also in sports and social activities. i have known mr.

to my surprise, i found he was among the few students in his class who could keep up with the pace of my lectures. moreover, he often posed thought-provoking questions during the course. thus it was natural that i liked discussing with this young man and became familiar with him. the more i knew him, the more i found he was talented at mathematics. as you can see, he got excellent scores on the course.
in fact, he ranked no. 1 on this 270 hours course in the talented student class which has 34 intelligent others. with his outstanding talent and solid mathematical background, he also did quite well in most other courses during his undergraduate study.
as to his personality, i would like to say mr. caleb is a warm-hearted, honest and upright
student. he was always ready to help others. during my lectures, many students got confused at some points and i could always see mr. caleb help them explain during breaks. in the meanwhile, i must admit that mr. caleb was a bit impatient

他俩跟随着尼莫舰长，悠闲地在海底平原漫步。大约走了一个半小时，才走到100米的海底，终于到达海底森林的边缘。
这个森林是由一大片高大的海底植物所构成。树木的形状很怪异，枝叶都是朝海面伸展，不会随着水波摇曳。而且即使用力折弯，过不了多久也会立刻恢复原状。
森林的地面起伏不一，还夹杂着小岩石，令人举步维艰。教授发现在海底，动物和植物简直难以分辨。

??国奇遇记暑假里，我读了《格列佛游记》，书中的主人公格列佛去了小人国、大人国、飞岛国和慧马国，经厉了种种困难，终于回到了自己的国家。静静的夏夜，躺在床上，却怎么也睡不着，我多希望自己也能像格列佛一样去各地探险……
第二天，当我醒来时，发现自己躺在了一艘货轮的甲板上，我起身急切地寻找爸爸妈妈，可没有他们的身影，正在这时，只听轰隆一声，船长喊道：船撞到了焦石，驾驶器已坏，可能在一分钟后沉没，请大家准备好救生艇，准备弃船！五艘救生艇坐不下那么多人，我和其他五个人被弃在了船上，船很快沉了下去，我用尽所有的力气，抓着一块木板，随着木板漂啊漂。
又累又饿的我，漂到了一座孤岛上，第一个念头便是填饱肚子，我爬上树摘了几个果子吃起来，心想怎么办，这些果子吃完，过不了几天，我迟早会被饿。正当我绝望的时候，来了两个黑人，顿时，我求生的明灯又亮了。我向他俩挥了挥手，他俩看到我，先是很惊讶，接着便手舞足蹈起来，问我从哪来，我便把事情的经过跟他们讲了一遍。他们边给我戴手拷边说：跟我们走吧。我疑惑不解地问：你们这是干吗？要带我去哪儿？带你去见我们的国王。其中一个说。来到国王那儿，那两个黑人说：大王，抓到一个黄种人。大王说：好，给你们记功，把犯人押入大牢，三天后行刑。我还没弄清怎么回事，就被关进了牢里。后来，我才听说这小岛叫黑人国，只许黑人进入，若有其他肤色者闯入，一律砍头视众。怪不得这里都是黑人呢！在这里，有个叫杰米的'黑人士兵，见我是个孩子，可怜我，便趁天黑时将我放了，还给了我一些吃的，让我走得越远越好，我非常感激他。就这样，我连夜赶路，又来到了一个不知名的小岛。
实在太累了，我就在一棵大树下睡着了，醒来后，发现自己身边都是小朋友，他们有的朝我做鬼脸，有的扶我起来，还有的问我是谁？我一五一十讲了自己的经历，他们带我去见了国王并向国王报告了我的来历，没想到小孩也能当国王，他见我是孩子，便命人为我准备了丰盛的早餐，并友善地对我说：我们这儿叫玩乐国，不上课，不做作业，不考试，整天玩，你放心，你可以永远住在这里。我很兴奋，心想：太好了！真有这种国家，我要留在这儿，好好体验体验！可不出五天，我便觉得无聊了。这里每天都是玩，除了玩还是玩，就不会干点别的事情吗？真怀念原来的国家！于是，我向国王提出了投资学校的事，国王听后，勃然大怒，命人把我逐出了玩乐国。
正当我无路可走，彻底失望的时候，我看到海上隐隐约约有船的踪影，我连忙脱下小背心，捡了根树枝，做了一杆小旗挥啊挥。船向我这边驶来，渐渐地靠岸了，舱门打开，从里面出来两个人。咦，怎么是黑猫警长和多拉A梦啊？我奇怪地想。这时，黑猫警长开囗了：你好，我是动漫卡通人物黑猫警长，他是多拉A梦，请问你刚才挥旗招船有什么事吗？我再次讲了我的经历。既然这样，那就先到我们的动漫卡通国去坐坐吧！就这样，我上了他们的船。在船上，我见到了柯南、哪吒、还有齐天大圣。来到动漫卡通国，他们带我参观了整个国家，那些新式工具和器材，令我目不暇接，但我还是恳求他们送我回自己的家乡——中国绍兴。既然你执意要走，我也不勉强，让我用时空机送你回家吧。多拉A梦说着，拿出了时空转换机，把我送回了家……
小懒虫，起床了，今天还要上培训班呢。一阵叫声从我耳边响起，我惊醒了，原来是个梦。这真是一个漫长的梦，让我一下子去了三个国家，感受了每个国家不同的特色，太有意思了！
