翠湖的春天充满生机。小草冲破了泥土，开始了它新的生命；桃花儿、梨花儿、樱花儿、杏花儿……把公园装扮成花的海洋；蜜蜂和蝴蝶在花朵间穿梭，公园里一派生机勃勃的景象。
翠湖的夏天凉爽万分。夏天的天气非常闷热，骄阳炙烤着大地，，但翠湖公园里却没有一丝热意，因为树叶把阳光都给挡住了，如同给翠湖撑起了一把绿色的大伞。绿荫之下，老人们有的.在拉二胡、有的在跳舞、有的在唱歌；孩子们有的在嬉戏、有的在写生、有的在运动，丝毫没有因酷热而影响了兴致。漫步湖边，池子里开满了荷花，小鱼在荷叶间穿梭，在荷叶间嬉戏。这让我想到了唐代诗人杨万里的诗句：“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”。
