On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

北京是我国的首都，也是我最向往的地方。今年暑假终于梦想成真！我和我们班的几位同学的爸爸妈妈结伴到北京旅游。
北京是个古老而又美丽的城市。游玩的几天里，我们先后参观天安门、故宫、长城、恭王府、颐和园、圆明园、鸟巢、水立方等等。它们是那样的雄伟，那样的壮观，那样的赋有历史内含。其中我最喜欢的就是天安门广场。
天安门广场可真大呀！天安门四周车水马龙。我来到广场上，我的左边是人民大会堂，右边是历史博物馆。正前面是天安门城楼，金碧辉煌，非常壮观！我身后是人民英雄纪念碑，它可高，真像一位大巨人。天安门广场上还立着笔直的旗杆，旗杆的顶端，五星红旗迎风飘扬，真漂亮！
我要感谢这次旅行，它让我来到我们的首都，让我更好的解中国的历史。我爱北京，我爱首都。

很小的时候，爸爸妈妈就告诉我北京是中国的首都，是个很美丽的城市，我就一直很想去。由于上个学期我评到三好学生，这个暑假妈妈终于带我去。
我们一共在北京待七天，去故宫、长城、天安门等等好多地方，我这才知道天安门原来是故宫的一部份。故宫是皇帝以前住过的宫殿，里面还有他以前坐过的龙椅，我很想坐到龙椅上照张相，体验一下当皇帝的感觉，只可惜管理员阿姨说它是文物，不让碰，真是很遗憾。
中国电影城也是个很有意思的地方，游客们可以自己在里面拍电影。我们演个讲土匪的片子，跟我们一个团的嘟嘟哥哥扮演土匪，妈妈们就演警察的姨太太。演完一看，大家都笑歪，一个个表情奇奇怪怪的，原来当演员也不是一件容易的事情。
这真是一次非常愉快的旅行。
