我读了一本书，名字叫《时代广场上的蟋蟀》。这本书主要讲了一只来自农村的蟋蟀，偶然间来到纽约时代广场的地铁站，它被一个名叫玛利欧的小男孩捡了回去，并把它安定在它的家——火柴盒里，它遇到了一对知心朋友，老鼠塔克和享利猫成了它们的好朋友。后来，在朋友们的帮助下，它一跃成为了纽约著名的演奏家，但在这样的环境下，小蟋蟀却逐渐想念起自己的故乡——农村了，最后，还是在朋友们的帮助下，回到了令自己魂牵梦绕的农村乡下……在这本书里，我最喜欢的，就是小蟋蟀柴斯特。小蟋蟀柴斯特就像是个初次进城的纯朴的乡下人，都市的一切对它而言充满了新鲜感，但也同样叫它无助与害怕。它就像个可爱，守本分的乡下小男孩，让人发自内心地去欣赏它。其中有一个场景，我很喜欢。那就是他去吃中国晚餐的时候。因为这里把柴斯特写得非常的可爱的聪明。很讨人喜欢。
我喜欢的场景还有很多。比如说玛利欧哀求他妈妈把那些可爱的小东西留下的时候，塔克看玛利欧替他爸爸照顾报摊的时候……很多很多的。读到“第十二章”时，我仿佛也像史麦德利一样吓坏了，一只平凡的蟋蟀竟然能演奏出《基督精兵进行曲》。蟋蟀柴斯特那嘹亮而韵味无穷的鸣叫，另我回味无穷。我仿佛也听到了它的鸣叫。读到“第十四章”，我又再一次的感觉到了它声音的奇妙：往来的行人和车辆全都静止了。公共汽车、轿车、走路的男男女女……全都停了下来。在乐曲持续的这几分钟里，时代广场静的就像傍晚的草原一样。这一小节，充分的体验出那声音的美。它另我陶醉！读到最后时，我又有些失落，它要离开马利欧，去回故乡了。这个结局有些另人失落，它似乎不是那么的美好，又似乎是那么的完美。我爱这只叫柴斯特的蟋蟀，他给我们带来了欢乐，我也会记住它那嘹亮而韵味无穷的鸣叫！

记得那一天晚上，我像以往一样，吃完饭后，不由自主地去看电视。可不知怎么回事，那天晚上的.动画片特别多，特别精彩，一集连着一集，我看着看着，随着时间的流逝，已超过平时规定的15分钟了，动画片太吸引我了。我像中了毒一样，无法像以前那样关掉电视，自觉地回屋做作业。脑海中，一个一身漆黑地天使支持着我说：“算了吧，好不容易碰到这么好看的电视节目，多看一会儿吧，反正就这么一次”而另一个一身洁白的天使也在提醒我说：“多看一秒也不行，小学生要有时间观念，学会控制自己。”“好不容易爸爸妈妈不在家，多看一会儿吧，没人会发现的。”第一个声音亮出了自己的观点。“可是，现在已经进入总复习阶段，电视看多了会影响学习的，快去写作业吧！”我被这两种声音搞得头昏脑胀。
就当我被这两个天使弄的心乱如麻时。忽然，我的脑海里闪现出莎士比亚说过的一句话：“抛弃时间的人，时间也会抛弃他。”我猛地一下回过神来，恍然大悟。是啊！现在我不正是那个把时间抛弃在动画片上的人吗？不行，我要得赶快做作业。我一看表，呀，我竟在这里白白浪费了40分钟，时间如流水，过得真快呀。
我急忙关掉电视，一头扎进作业的海洋。手中的笔在数学卷、作业本、作文本中来回穿梭着，把一张张空白的纸写满，把一道道题解开，终于把一项项作业做完了。虽然时间还是头也不回地向前迈着脚步，可我再也不休闲了，在知识的海洋里遨游，时间是多么充实。当我写完最后一个字时，我看了看手表我露出了满意的笑容。
时间是宝贵的，可有的人却不懂得珍惜；时间就像流水一样一去不复返，可有的人却不懂得把握；时间是短暂的，可有的人却不懂得利用……有的人把“还有时间”当做浪费青春和生命的借口，却从不知道“明日复明日，明日何其多。”生命是由无数个一分一秒组成的，我们要跟上时间的脚步，才不会被时间抛弃。莎士比亚这句名言真是蕴含了生命的意义。
我轻轻地伸了一下懒腰，晚风像一双温柔的手轻轻地抚摸着我。虽然刚才那件事没有在我平静的生活中掀起多大的波浪，莎士比亚这句名言却深深地印在我的脑海里时时给予我提醒，给予我影响。

一到五四广场，只见花坛中矗立着一个红色的大家伙，有点像火炬，但我觉得更像个大冰淇淋。导游告诉我这是五四广场的标志。广场上人来人往，有的在忙着和美丽的风景的风景拍照，有的在和喷泉玩耍，还有的在买纪念品,好不热闹!大家都希望把这美丽的风景带回家。我们继续往前走，来到一座桥前，我停住脚步，说：“这根柱子可真够坚固的，竟然一根粗柱子就能提起这座桥!”听导游说，每当夜幕降临，桥边上的五彩灯就会亮起来，整座桥就像是一道彩虹，因此人们把它叫作“彩虹桥”。我心想：那一定美极了，眼前仿佛已经看到了那美丽的彩虹桥。桥上有些人在卖贝壳，个个都精美别致，我开心地挑选了几个。

让我印象最深的是柴斯特说的一句话：由我来承担！
当柴斯特把纸币当柳叶吃了一半时，塔克对柴斯特说：“柴斯特，你把另一半也吃了，再让我们把报摊搞的很乱，装成小偷来过，把钱偷走了。不然你会受到惩罚的但柴斯特说：“不，做错事了，由我来承担！”当柴斯特、塔克和亨利一不小心点燃火火烧报摊时，亨利叫柴斯特快走，不然会被赶走，但柴斯特说：我要待在这，承担错误。
回想我做错事是怎样的：一年级时，不小心碰到被人的铅笔盒，掉在地上，而我却和别人说：“不是我碰到的！”还有一次，我把尺子一不小心搞坏了，怕被妈妈骂就说：“不是我搞坏的！”现在我真后悔，假如那时我看了《时代广场的蟋蟀》我一定会把铅笔盒捡起来放到他的桌上，对他说声对不起。对妈妈说：“是我弄坏的！”
现在，我读了这本书后，非常羡慕蟋蟀柴斯特和老鼠塔克、猫咪亨利有非常深厚的友谊，也使我懂得了我们每个人都应该勇于承认错误，《时代广场的蟋蟀》我真喜欢！

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
