People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. For me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.人们去旅游有的乘飞机、有的坐火车、坐船、乘公共汽车。对我来说在暑假，最好的方式是徒步旅行。
My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. 经过两个多小时的飞行，我们来到了美丽的哈尔滨，这里十分凉爽，在这里开启我们的愉快之旅。
到了哈尔滨，最值得去看的当然就是冰雕了。我们去往中央大街的冰雕大世界。到
了那里，我们穿上大棉袄，走了进去，一股股冷气扑面而来，这里真是一个冰的世界啊！眼睛所能看到的一切都是冰做的，地面是用冰块铺成的，里面的冰雕样式千姿百态，有火车，有长廊，有滑梯，有马车，还有一尊大佛像，两条大金鱼托起"年年有余"四个大字，这些冰雕在灯光的映衬下惟妙惟肖，漂亮极了！这里的温度保持在零下5℃。虽然我们穿着大棉袄，但还是感到了寒气刺骨。不一会儿，我们便出来了。我们整个身子都冻麻了！走在太阳底下，浑身热乎乎的，没一会儿又大汗淋漓，这可真是冰火两重天呀！
走在中央大街，我们品尝了正宗的马迭尔冰棍。这种冰棍制作时不添加水，很容易化掉，所以我们要大口大口地吃掉它！真够爽呀！
夜幕下的哈尔滨也十分漂亮。松花江边凉风习习，广场上灯火辉煌，人头攒动，各国的游客都在这里乘凉。松花江上一座大桥横跨江面，大桥上五颜六色的灯光闪烁不停！
哈尔滨真是太美了！
