《楚门的世界》让我对自由有了另一种见解。战争时代，国家被敌人侵占，同胞被敌人奴役，我们向往自由，那时候的自由只是想做自己喜欢的事情，而现在随着科技的进步，人们的行为乃至隐私都有可能受到监视甚至侵犯，是另一种自由受到了束缚。好比《楚门的世界》中的楚门，从出生就被摆布，生活中的每一秒都被监视，每天的生活就是别人眼中的一集电视剧，自由、隐私、尊严全部被剥夺，成为供别人娱乐的玩物，这样的人生何其悲哀!人的生活如果被操控，就好比一个植物人的意识被困在身体里，是一种人间炼狱，而楚门告诉我们，不自由毋宁。
