A Letter to the University President
Dear Sir,
I am writing to put up some suggestions concerning our teaching and campus life.
As a sophomore from the Math Department, I am quite satisfied with the present condition of my university, but I餯 like to say that there is still some room for improvement.
First, I believe that more attention should be paid to the guidance of our study methods. To some extent, university students are capable of studying by themselves, but more often than never, we find ourselves at a loss as to choose good books to read and appropriate topics for our research. It is clear that we need some advice from our teachers. If our teachers can lecture more on how to learn by yourself for us, especially for the freshmen, our skills will be further improved.
Second, more activities should be conducted to make our campus life more colorful. I sorry to say that the present life on campus is quite boring. Every day we have classes, read in the library, or stay in the dormitory. Life here is routine. We need more meaningful activities organized to enrich our college life and enable us to study more efficiently.

Although he experiences many unfortunate things, he is still very kind and without complaint at anyone. Eventually he is adopted by a couple who is very friendly and let him go to high school. One day, He is pursued by a bogie and hid in a shrine. He breaks a powerful bogie‘s seal whose name is Ban. And that involves her grandmother Xiamulingzi’s relics--a contract that sigh with the bogies. Since then, this powerful bogie turns itself into a cat in daily life to stay with Xiamu to protect him with the condition that Xiamu should give the contract to it after he die. But before that Xiamu decides to try his best to give the name in the contracts to the bogies and let them get free. Thus, a loving, touching, scary story is opened up.
《夏目友人帐》主要讲述了男主人公夏目贵志拥有可以看到妖怪的特殊能力。因为父母双亡他的性格较为孤僻，并且由于他具有特殊的能力，他常辗转在于亲戚之间并被同龄人欺负。虽然他经历了许多不幸，但他依旧有好善良没有埋怨任何人。最终他被有好善良的藤原夫妇收养并进入高中。有一天，他被妖怪追赶躲进神社，不小心打破了一只强大妖怪斑的封印。并牵涉到了他祖母夏目玲子的'遗物—一本同妖怪签订的契约书。之后，这只强大的妖怪平时便变成猫的样子待在夏目身边保护他，但是他的条件是夏目后要把这本契约书给它。但在此之前夏目决定尽其所能把契约书上的名字还给妖怪们让它们得到自由。由此，一个个温馨、感人、惊险的故事就此展开。

我想说的有如下事情：
一是，如果您的孩子的学习成绩与众多学生平均水平已相差太多，或者再某些方面已经有了偏离正常轨道的趋势，那么请您暂时放缓您对孩子成绩的要求，转而把重点放在您和您的孩子之间的亲子关系上来。何为健康的亲子关系？用鲁迅的话来说，教育植根于爱；父母对于子女，应该健全的产生，尽力的教育，完全的解放。换句话说，您需要把孩子当人看，他不是您的.附庸，更不是累赘；他有他独立的人格和想法，应该受到尊重；为人父为人母应该学会换位思考。只有您会设身处地，您的孩子才会换位思考，这是相互的。另外，您还是他的父母，即要对他的成长和成人、完成社会化、有一定的立身之本而负很大的责任，所谓“养不教父之过”即为此。
二是关于管教的问题。管教也是由爱而生，管教是为了他的健康成长，而不是发泄怒气，在您为了您的孩子而恼怒的时候，请先冷静下来，想想其原因。要明白惩罚没有效果的话等于没有惩罚，而且还要其知道为什么受惩罚。而惩罚的项目请慎用体罚，因为体罚很可能会带来相反的结果。惩罚应该找您能够控制的，比如零花钱、玩耍时间、看电视的时间……
还有一个很重要的问题就是溺爱的问题。溺爱的结果毋用言喻，您会让他失去自立的能力。那怎么样才是溺爱呢？如果您的孩子的缺点（至少在大部分人眼里看来是，或者他不符合社会规范），在您那里得到了肯定（这种肯定不光表现在语言上，而且还表现在表情和眼神里），那这就已经是溺爱了。溺爱就是无条件的好，没有逻辑没有根据。当然，这不是说您的孩子不优秀，而是要优缺点分明。那与溺爱相对应的还有忽视、家庭不和。如果是这样，如果您有什么不开心的过往，请您要清楚，孩子就是孩子，不要让他生活在您的恩怨里，他没有错。如果生活在阴影里他就不会快乐。
最后要说的，每个孩子都有他独特的一面，有他比别人突出的优势，如果您发现了，请您不要吝啬自己的赞美，请真心鼓励他。如果还没有发现，请您继续寻找，另外注意一下自己是不是对孩子关心不够。
每个孩子都是一个优良的种子，需要您用心栽培。
