我的朋友要来北京的英语作文【一】
伴随着夏至的雨，我们在北京的旅程正式拉开了帷幕。
豆粒儿般大的雨水从纪念堂的'围墙上顺流而下，打湿了我的衣襟，虽说是如此，但其又怎能使我忘记革命先烈为新中国成立而立下的那一份份生誓约，又怎能动摇我今后愿为国效力的赤子之心？
雨止，风停，云散，纪念堂在京城的龙脉之上迸射出了无比闪耀的红色光辉。
第二日，我们去到了中国历史上乃至世界历史上的古建筑奇迹——长城。或是经昨日夏雨的洗淋，地面上的水珠蒸腾化身为空中的水雾，又或是天公不作美，放眼望去，周围尽是烟雾弥漫，陶醉于八达岭绵延不绝的山脉之中，仿佛下一秒便会从其中窜出一只小虫或是小兔。
接着是攀登长城，尽管大雾缭绕，却丝毫也不减我想行走于长城之上，人流之间的闲情，就如曾经的那样，也是一路走走停停，但终究是到了首个烽火台，望着山那头若隐若现的城墙，仿佛看到了曾经的秦皇率领军队一路披荆斩棘凯旋的场景，心中不禁涌现起一股为国戍边的壮志豪情。
第三日，我们则是来到了慈禧老佛爷的避暑胜地——颐和园。这与在长城上的心潮澎湃不同，更多的应是如慈禧太后那般的怡然，悠哉。行走于如假包换的大明河畔，一阵夏风拂过，心中是前所未有的平静，学习中的压力，生活中的烦恼，被这和煦的夏风带走，在天边散尽。我想这便是所谓的“心旷神怡”了吧！
随后，我们去到了中国的最高学府——清华大学。经讲解员的讲述，清华已经有100多年的历史了。再看，整个校园非常大，建筑也很古朴。印象最深刻的是校园草坪里的一座不锈钢雕塑——清华之心，它象征着清华“自强不息、厚德载物”的精神。我心想一定要好好学习，将来考上大学做一个有用的人才。
感受完浓厚的文化氛围，我们又到了北京的南锣鼓巷，据导游的介绍，历史上的北京以胡同众多而著称，民间还流传着一种“著名的胡同三千六，没名的胡同赛牛毛”的说法。行走于古色古香的街巷，不经意间竟有种穿越之感。
此次北京之行，给我留下了深刻的印象，不仅开阔了我的眼界，更是激起了我对首都北京以及对我们强大祖国的热爱之情！

北京，皇城天子脚下的土地。
怀着对陌生土地的憧憬，经过六小时的长途跋涉，我终于面对着这一片喧闹无垠的王府井。熙熙攘攘来来往往的人群，旖旎炫目的灯牌，会忽然感慨：这是北京。
地铁
北京是全中国地铁交通最便捷的城市，两个硬币就可以随意换乘任意班车。在北京度过的四日半时光里，出行全靠地铁，速度快价格低不堵车，当然也是时常的拥挤。
人口高达2000万的密集城市，涌现了许许多多各形各色不同国家的人群。在我第一天的地铁旅途中，遇见我最难忘的一位外国人。金发的外国女人倚在车厢角落，豪气地打开随身包补妆，没有镜子，只是大把在脸上擦着粉面，却是没有违和感。
突然觉得北京似乎就是有骨子里的傲气，连接国际的傲气。却是于我心目中古都两字，渐行渐远。
长城
都说去北京不去长城真是不值得，或许大老远跑来一趟不多看看更是不值得。跟了个旅游团去，景点停留多少时间，商场又留了多少时间，导游也真与我心中温婉形象差了远。上下长城坐缆车，就那几步上长城显得乏味起来。于是又东走西走，不巧赶上暴雨，下山时缆车停了，差点耽误回去的时辰，让旅行团一行人好等。
许是我生来只适合杭州小地方的走走停停，一到这大城市里不小心迷了方向，失了初心。世人怕也如此，不然，也没有那些北漂迷茫无垠在这北京城根了。
故宫
明清两代24位皇帝的政务场所与寝宫，庞大的连绵建筑群。
先前只知故宫庞大，却不知竟大至如此。真正的皇城，城门脚下，人群也是渺小了。从早上走到了晚上，只是想把导游机里的介绍听听完。太阳又是毒辣，难免晒黑了一圈。这时候，最奢想的，就是小小博物参展馆里的空调。
在某个馆子里遇见一位老太太坐着休息，老太太很热情来跟我们打招呼，问我们哪里来的。听闻从杭州来，若有所思。再问老太太哪里来，她笑着说从香港来。七十多的高龄，千里迢迢从香港城市飞来。我不明白是何种信念这样支持了她，或许，并不是那来看看的心情。
天空掠过一群飞鸟，匆匆赶路。故宫里的游人群，依然连绵不绝。
我想，在北京这个城市里，旅游的名字叫做行走，参观的意义在于领悟。
