地球上最后一个人独自在房间里，这时，忽然想起了敲门声。他大吃一惊，一头雾水，心想：怎么可能?地球上不是只有我一个人了吗?哪来的敲门声呢?不可能呀!难道……难道……是外星人?他悄悄地走到门旁，蹲下身子，躲在那里静静地观察。

敲门声继续传来，“咚咚咚”，响亮而沉重，带着一丝诡异。地球上最后一个人联想起他曾经读过的一本书——《八十天环游地球》，主人公菲利亚·福格那无所畏惧，勇敢加强，不惧怕任务艰难险阻……于是心中顿时充满了坚强的信念，刚才的那些畏惧和害怕消失了很多。

他继续蹲守在门边，外面的敲门声还在继续。没有丝毫停歇的.意思。地球上最后一个人这是恍然回悟起自己就是一个科学家，可以研究一切来历不明的事物，那么还有什么可怕的呢!于是他大胆的推开大门，看见了门外站着一个外星人：四只小腿又细又短，眼睛长大额头上，而且只有一只，全身长满体毛……咦!怎么突然之间消失了?还不待他看清楚，外星人眨眼间就消失得无影无踪。

地球上最后一个人没有多想，立刻返回实验室，小心地放入一种实验药水。天空霎时变得乌云大作、闪电雷鸣交加，天就像要塌下来似的，大雨却始终没有下来。一个小时过去了，两个小时过去了……将近五个小时的时候，突然一声轰炸，一团绿色的烟雾腾空而起，紧接着大门就被这团烟雾砰地一声撞开，随之升上天空消失不见了。
