一个炎热的天气里，11岁的温妮由于无聊和闷热，独自悄悄跑进丛林中探险。在那里，她遇见了长生不老的塔克一家。17岁英俊潇洒的少年杰西和他哥哥、父母，他们因为误服可长生不老的泉水而永远年轻，他们为了保守这个秘密而东躲西藏。但还是有许多人在寻找他们，想知道长生不老的秘密。
一个人喝了一口泉水，他就会永远不老，即使年龄已经很大了。虽然可以一直生活在地球上，但也是有麻烦的，比如：文中的迈尔斯喝了泉水之后，跟一名女子结了婚，不久，那名女子发现迈尔斯一直不老，就带着孩子离开了……
主人公温妮，是一个乐于助人、见义勇为的人。在帕克一家人遇到困难的时候，温妮便挺身而出，救了他们一家。
我们的生命就像一根燃烧的蜡烛，用光阴发光发热，最后燃尽，这就是生命的轮回。喝了不老泉，虽然可以长生不老，但就尝不到生活中的酸甜苦辣，也体会不到生命的自然规律，就如同路边的石头一样没有活力。故事里的帕克一家就喝了这种泉水，活了好多年。光阴被卡住了，眼看着时光轮回，自己却一点儿不变，永远也尝不到从年轻到年迈的滋味了。所以，自然的生命最神圣！

今天，我读了美国的著名作家纳塔莉·巴比特写的《不老泉》，看完后，我深有感触。
这个故事的主要内容是这样的：温妮·福斯特在家族拥有的森林里发现了一口泉，泉水竟然可以使人长生不老！但这也迫使小温妮进一步思考：永生究竟是一种福音还是一种诅咒？
喝过这口泉的塔克一家四口看着生命在身边流逝，而他们自己却永远不老，他们把这奇妙的经历秘密地像温妮道来……温妮最终没有去赴杰西的不老之约，她选择平平凡凡的过生活，选择经历生与。若干年后，塔克一家又回到了这里见到了温妮，不过见到的是她的坟墓。她已经去世了，活了78岁。温妮虽然没有长生不老，但是她已经领悟了人活着的真谛。
人之所以害怕亡，是因为亡总是伴随着各种伤痛，各种离别，各种恐怖，各种残忍。你可能还想和你心爱的人多说几句话，你可能还想多看这美丽的世界几眼，但亡断绝了你的这些希望。亡绝然地带走你的亲人，或把你从你的亲人身边带走，带走你的爱、你的希望、你的快乐和健康。可是永生，并没有表面上看的那么风光。
亡与出生就挨在一起，你没法儿只挑自己喜欢的，不要自己不喜欢的，完整的人生才是一种福气。人活着就得，所以我们这模样，不能算活人，这能算是人，是物，就像路边的石头。这是塔克先生说过的一句话。曾经，我也向往长生不老，这样可以和家人永远呆在一起，可看完这本书，听完塔克先生说的这句话，我顿时觉得自己错了，错的太离谱了，我发现如果永远不的话，那么你就不会去珍惜这个生命，去感悟这个世界！
所以，亡真的不可怕，真正可怕的，是像塔克一家一样，永远不了。

故事讲述的是关于温妮和塔克一家的故事。有一天温妮在森林里玩，他看到了不老泉，就被梅给绑架走了。温妮来到了塔克的家里，知道了一个惊天动地的秘密，那些泉水喝了可以让人长生不老。然后他就和他们一家人生活在一起。可是有一个穿黄色西服的人，一直跟踪着他们，秘密也都知道了。梅怕他说出去，就把他打了，但还住进了监狱。最后他们一家人和温妮成功的把梅给救出来了。他们一家人走了。但是温妮的长生不老水，自己没有喝，没有和他们在一起了。
我的感受：我在开始读这本书的时候，很想长生不老，因为我们之前读过《天蓝色的彼岸》这本书让我很珍惜生命，所以我不想。但是读完这本书后我才知道，长生不老也未必是一件好事。就像故事中的塔克一家似的。他们一家活的像小偷似的，干工作不能让别人发现，还要来回的换工作，一辈子都很穷。一点意思都没有，生不如。所以我认为生在世上度过自己一生要经历的事情，就可以了，老是活在世上也不是那么高兴的事情。大家都很像长生不老，但是生命只有短暂才会去珍惜，如果都可以长生不老，要珍惜生命干什么。
有时候我认为生命像个摇篮，随时都可能失去生命，所以这才可以让大家珍惜生命。真实的世界上没有不老泉，如果有我也不会喝，因为如果喝下去了，虽然永远都不会去，但是永远也感受不到幸福。所以只有那一段段的时光才是最好的时候。只有那一段时光才是最美好的，最幸福的。
我认为故事写的很好，可以让人从一个小故事中脱节对长生不老的渴望。看后一定会有意想不到的收获。我希望大家有机会也可以读一读。

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
