马上要开学了，今天我要搭上暑期旅游的末班车去无锡玩一天，所以早晨五点我就起床了。刷好牙洗完脸就去检查要带的行李，生怕忘记了带什么，心里真是既紧张又兴奋。
准备完毕后，我和妈妈就出发了，我们先去旅行社会合，然后登上了开往无锡的汽车，去无锡大约要两个小时，所以我在车上睡了一会儿，当我睁开眼睛的时候，车已经到无锡了。
跟着导游下车后，首先引入眼帘的是无锡三国城高大的城门，门口还有穿着古代服装的士兵把守，让我有一种穿越到古代的感觉。我迫不及待地向城里走去，导游先带我们到竞技场去观看《桃园三结义》的演出，演员们的精彩表演真是让我们大饱眼福，他们把刘备、张飞、关羽三人结拜时的兄弟之情表现得淋漓尽致，各种兵器耍起来也是有模有样，引得台下的观众拼命鼓掌。表演结束后，大家才意犹未尽地离开竞技场。
我们在三国城里四处参观，我看到了许多在《三国》电视剧中出现过的场景，有诸葛亮三借东风的七星坛，有吴国水军的训练营，还有雄伟壮观的吴王宫……亲眼看到这些地方感觉比电视上更加震撼。
最后，我们坐上了“周瑜号”观光游船，行驶在平静的太湖上，我发现湖面上漂着一层像绿油漆一样的东西，还散发出难闻的气味，“太湖美，美就美在太湖水”这句话现在是名不副实了，看来我们真应该好好保护大自然的环境啊!
结束三国城的游览后，导游带我们到阳山品尝无锡有名的水蜜桃，这些桃子一个个又香又甜又多汁，真不愧是无锡的特产。我挑了一个最大的，把肚子都吃撑了。虽然我没能亲自采摘水蜜桃，但我也觉得不虚此行。
短短一天的旅游很快就结束了，无锡还有很多旅游景点，我们还没来得及去，妈妈说明年暑假再带我来玩，我也只能和美丽的无锡相约明年再见了。

I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.暑假的时候，我通过旅游去释放自己和游览乡间。当我用双脚走在铺满小草的小径或山间时，我感觉（自己）远离城市的喧嚣，并且更亲近大自然。当我徒步旅行时我可以得到更多的自由。我可以自己选择行程。我可以自己选择路线。只要喜欢，我就可以停下来。而且我可以看到很多人和事，那些我可能乘坐火车或公车旅行而错失的。
