summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

本书的作者是左手，摄影记者张千里，我更愿意叫他右手，这样更符合他们的故事。他们相识于童年，当时一个五岁一个七岁，因为家离的比较近，自小便是玩伴。后来彼此上了学也就分开了，但是那个小女孩左手自小就喜欢上了她的小哥哥——千里。因为父辈的关系，分离了14年的他们在上海重逢。说是命中注定也罢，说是心怀向往也好，就是那么的巧。
有点自卑的左手，再次面对帅气专业的摄影记者千里，心底似乎有那么一点童年的温度，但却无法说出口。当矛盾纠结的左手感情演化到无法控制从地铁上跳下来的那一刻，就像是用无声的语言在对千里表白，当然，木讷的千里被感动了。
他们就那么简单的成为了情侣，没有玫瑰，没有甜言蜜语，左手甚至为千里不懂表达而烦恼。“37。2度的爱情，不是高烧，也不是很沉重，在波澜不惊中保持着温度”。但当他们踏上旅途，他们真的是好般配。左手温暖而智慧，千里沉稳而深邃。一个学的是金融却作了摄影记者，一个学的是管理却作了杂志编辑，有人制造幸福，有人记录幸福，你负责微笑，我负责拍照。“我不善用语言来表达自己的感情，我的武器就是我手中的机器，我的摄影包里总有一支镜头为你而准备……”。千里就是左手旅途上最好的风景，而左手就是千里一生读不尽的书。
书的封面上有一句话“爱情迟早会褪去激情，唯有我们始终牵手的旅行”，这句话可以说是全书的精华。再美好的爱情经过了三年五年，十年八年迟早会褪去最初的激情，但要懂得什么叫做浪漫，如何去为自己的爱情保持37。2度？像千里和左手，在土耳其他们相互怂恿去搭讪和被搭讪；在嵊泗列岛，一句“情人节快乐”比过了任何珍贵的礼物；在西藏咖啡厅，他们相坐无言，沉默了一下午，彼此看彼此的书……在爱情褪尽甘华之后如何来为她保持的鲜度，不是刻意的.去创造浪漫，也不是什么要求与不要求，而是在柴米油盐，洗衣做饭中去体味浪漫，明白彼此的心，理解彼此的心意。
爱上这本书的人多多少少都喜欢旅行，在惊叹自己心底的梦被左手和千里所实现。想想自己，要放下一切去环游世界，太多顾虑太多羁绊，很难踏出第一步。其实只要你想走，你敢走，世界就摆在你的面前。不知你曾想过没有，你为何去旅游，旅行之后又该如何来回归。
左手说 ：“旅行不是为了出发，而是为了回家”。出发的目的是为了回家，旅行的目的是为了更好的生活。
飘荡在外的游子心里总有那么一块牵挂的地，那里有生我们养我们的大山大河，那里我们有我们放不下离不开，我们深爱着的人和爱着我们的人。在世界去闯荡体味了各种流离，忍下了不能承受的痛苦，家这个字在在外游子身上真的是不敢提，不然夺框而的是收不住的泪水。出发也就预示着回家，在外面打了一圈，家这个字在你心里的意义可能就不仅仅是老爸老妈，更重要的是你改变了的心态。
旅行的目的不是为了逃避生活，而是为了更好的活着。生命相对来说就是比较长的旅行，在这场旅行里有各种各样的风景，起起伏伏，波波折折……但到最终你淡然了，明白最重要的不是风景，而是与你看风景的人。风景在好也有离开的时候，春华在美也有飘落的季节，不变的是与你看风景的人和你乐观向上的心。世界虽大，可你就是你，无论你身处何地，变作何种模样，不断的去完善自己，遇见更加真实的自己，活得更加精彩与充实才是你无限的追求。
左手和千里给了我们一种生活方式，即是现代社会快速发展的产物，也是紧张繁忙社会的一种解脱。“每个人的人生都是一张画，从空白到充满颜色，图上怎么样的颜色都取决于你手中的画笔。不让自己后悔没有照顾父母，没有追求事业，没有生儿育女，也不让自己后悔没有在有生的岁月里站出来，追寻内心的召唤。。。。。。”在现今快速发展的社会里，多少人沦落为金钱的奴隶，多少人像是被设定的机器人？你有过环游世界的心吗，你有过一本书一盏茶的安静吗，你有过携子之手，与子偕老的诺言吗？
我们看左手和右手认识27年、恋爱11年、结婚8年、自助旅行10年，走了23个国家，拍了十几万张照片，写了几十万文字。左手右手，千里随行，这是他们的梦，那么我们的梦又是什么，我们什么时候出发，什么时候回家？

So people call it Mountain City。 In Chong Qing，I went to the Red Stone Center， to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past。 It is a terrible and awful trip。 There are a lot of dogs， and soldiers with guns near the prisons。 And most of the prisons are good， they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were。 They lived in very small houses。 No good food to eat， no good water to drink。They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing。
I think they are the heros in that century。 I will follow their spirit。
