When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is usually grey in color, having a long trunk with large ivory tusks protruding from each side of its mouth. Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre. For many years people have used the strength of these poweful animals to move trees and heavy logs. Elephant has been and is a vital tool for people to do many things that would normally be imposs-ible.
Elephant is and will continue to be one of the greatest creatures man has ever come into contact with. Its size. beauty, and power willforever be useful to man.

过去，我对动物知道得很少，读了这本书以后，才知道世界上还有很多动物之谜没有揭开，有很多珍贵动物被捕而面临灭绝，有的甚至已经灭绝了。我是多么渴望当一名动物学家，去研究它们，保护它们。
我想，再过10年、20年或者30年，我就会成为一名动物学家。到那时我要走遍世界各地。我要到南极去研究大海雀灭绝的原因；我要到大洋底去揭开“恶魔纽鱼”的秘密；我要研究旅鼠为什么成群投海自；我要研究如何保护世界上的珍禽异兽，探索解决自然界生态不平衡的许多问题，让大自然更好地为人类造福。我还要把狼改良成牧羊狼，让它为人类牧羊；改良野牛，让它给人类耕地；把老虎改良成凶猛的看家虎……
从我立志当一名动物学家以后，我特别爱看电视里的《动物世界》节目，爱听广播里讲的有关动物的故事。动物园也成了我经常光顾的场所，我在那里仔细观察动物的生活习性。有关描写动物的书籍我总是贪婪地读了又读，舍不得放下。画动物画也成了我的一项爱好。
现在，我对动物的兴趣越来越浓。当一名动物学家的美好理想吸引着我积累有关动物方面的知识，为今后打下一定的基础。我坚信，我的理想一定能够实现，我是未来的动物学家。

在一个夜深人静哦晚上，我洗完脸，刷好友，又洗了一把热水澡，终于躺上了洁白而又舒适的大床，不久就进入了甜蜜的梦乡！
当我走进家门时，发现“呀，不好”，我家地上怎么全是蛇呢？更可怕的是所有的蛇都像土雕塑一样，躺在地上，一动不动。抬头一看，我家的大床上居然立着一个大大的墓碑，上面还刻有一些字迹，我轻声的读了一整遍字迹，突然，大地震动了，不久后又停了下来，我顿时吓得脸色苍白，呆呆地站在原地，动都不敢动。就在这时，一个蛇精轻声说到：“从现在开始，我们都会听从你的吩咐的！”我半信半疑地叫蛇精们都跪下，结果还真都跪下了，这让我大吃一惊！后来我又叫它们去给我倒茶，瞬间热气腾腾的茶就出现在了面前……
突然“轰”的一声，一阵雷声传来，当我惊醒之时，才发现原来这只是一场惊险的梦啊！

My favorite animal is the dog. Dogs are the most loyal animals to people.
My family also has a dog, its name is lu lu, is a male dog. It was a shish dog, covered with long, golden hair and felt soft and comfortable. It had big black eyes and a twinkle in the evening. There's also a lovely flat black nose that is always wet, so it likes to lick its nose. There was a cute little braid tied to the head, and a red bow tied to the braid.
It has been with me since I was a baby. I remember one time I made a mistake and my mother was going to hit me. Lulu saw it, and ran quickly, Shouting at her mother, trying to protect me, and her mother gave up.
My dog has a skill that other dogs don't, and whenever I play the harmonica, it will sing in rhythm, in a deep, sometimes high-pitched way. I think it's going to be a concert of its own! Do you mean my dog is tough?
So, I like dogs very much.
我最喜欢的动物是狗。因为，狗是对人最忠诚的动物。
我家也养了一只狗，它的名字叫噜噜，是一只公狗。它是一只西施狗，浑身上下长满了长长的金黄色的毛，摸上去软软的，舒服极了。它有一双黑黑的大眼睛，一到晚上就会发出闪闪的光芒。还有一只可爱的扁扁的黑鼻子，上面总是湿漉漉的，所以它总喜欢舔自己的'鼻子。噜噜的头上还扎着一个超可爱的小辫子，辫子上还扎着一只红色的蝴蝶结，分外耀眼。
从我还是婴儿的时候起，它就开始陪伴着我成长。记得有一次，我犯了一个错误，妈妈要打我。噜噜看见了，就飞快地跑过来，对着妈妈凶狠地大喊大叫，想要保护我，妈妈见它那么凶，只好放弃了。
我家的狗还有一个别的狗没有的本领，只要每次我吹响口琴时，它就会按节奏唱起歌来，时而委婉深沉，时而高亢激昂。我想，它肯定能开一个属于自己的演唱会了！你说我家的狗厉害吗？
所以，我非常喜欢狗。

在茂密的森林里，生活着许多可爱的小动物。其中最活泼可爱的要属小百灵鸟了。它整天欢快地唱歌，是森林里鼎鼎有名的歌星了。在森林中心流淌着一条清澈见底的小河，许多美丽的小金鱼在水里自由自在地游动着。小金鱼和小百灵是一对好朋友。
快乐的生活没过几年，城市里的一家工厂就搬到了这片森林里。这家工厂的规模很大，工人们砍伐了许多树木，占用了许多植物的领地。小动物们都非常气愤！更让小动物们受不了的是工厂里的污水排放在小金鱼生活的河里，河里整天散发出一股很刺鼻的气味。而且，水的质量也逐渐恶化，动物们食用了这水后，有的已经去，有的都病倒了。小百灵也喝了这水，就立刻晕了过去。等它醒来，才发现自己的嗓子变得沙哑了。然而，在工厂的烟囱里冒出了白烟，白烟不仅污染了环境，而且使空气变得不再清新。动物闻到了这种气味后，变得头晕脑涨，神志不清。
不久，树木开始枯，动物们相伴去，小鸟非常悲哀。它们拖着疲惫的身子，走到河边，大声地呼喊：“小金鱼，小金鱼……你们快出来啊，快出来啊！”这时，有只小金鱼慢慢地游上来说：“人类破坏生态环境，许许多多的小金鱼都了，只剩下我自己了。河里的水质越来越差，小虾和小螃蟹也不见了，我现在肚子饿得咕咕直叫。人类这样破坏生态环境，决不会有……有好下场的……”说完身体无比脆弱的小金鱼了，沉到了河底。
小百灵大声喊：“小金鱼，小金鱼……”小百灵的好朋友了，再也没有人和它一起玩耍，一起唱歌，一起聊天了。小百灵非常伤心，非常痛恨人类，它在心里说：“希望人类能认识到自己的错误，别再破坏环境了！”所有的动物都希望有一个祥和、安定的家园，都希望拥有同一片蓝天。

没过几天，百灵鸟越来越孤单，它真得希望人类能够知道保护环境，但是，这个愿望也许不能实现了，因为人类在无休止地砍伐林木，在那里乱占用植物领地，将动物捕，摆在贪吃者的餐桌上，还有，还有……这些用残忍的手段来对待动物的人，终究不会有好下场！
我多么希望，那些正在或想破坏环境的人们，不要再占用植物动物的领地，不要再捕动物了，世界的植物正以每天100多种的速度消失，用不了20年，植物就会在地球上全部消失!所以一定要保护环境！让蔚蓝色的地球永远不失绿色的美丽，让动、植物们在地球上拥有祥和、安定的家园。
