我只想在痛惜之余，说出几点希望
首先当然是希望大家(不限于知识分子，而是一切党员、团员，一切觉悟的青年和觉悟的劳动者都应该向他们学习，特别是那些至今对知识分子还有某种不信任感、不敢推心置腹的人们，以及那些一味争名夺利，甚至对社会主义祖国至今还三心二意，羡慕资本主义“天堂”的人们，多读读他们的事迹。……
其次，我想说，希望一切先进分子所在机构中的党组织、每个党员以至每个正直的公民能够更多地更好地关心这些先进的人们。……
