the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

凌晨3点，我们一家就出发了。爸爸这次本来是不准备去的，后来不放心我们，他还是去了，我很兴奋。我们一家等在门口，坐上了到上海的旅游大巴车，发现车上有好几个我们小区的朋友。在这一路上，我们欢声笑语，歌声不断。
经过了6个多小时的行驶后，我们终于到了上海市区。“再过10分钟，就到世博园区了。”导游姐姐说。不一会儿，我们就到了世博园区，经过一系列古怪的安检后，我们进入了世博园内。光看地图还以为世博园不是很大。其实世博园非常大。用一个事例可以描述，这里每几秒钟，就有寻人启示出现。所以我始终都和父母在仪器，深怕丢了就找不到了。
首先我们去的是德国馆，才开始我还以为人并不多，走近后，我才发现，排队的人起码有七、八千人！我真是给惊呆了。我急得不想排队了，但是为了能看到馆，这次可真是让我知道什么叫排队了。刚到大门口，我就看见了门口排了“和谐都市”四个大字，原来德国馆的主题叫“和谐都市。”到了馆内，我闻到了“蛋糕”和“香肠”的香味看到了神奇的无纺t恤衫，欣赏到了“大球”动力之源的壮观，不过让我记忆最深的还是用三维做出的.鸟儿，那些鸟儿栩栩如生，一会儿飞来，一会儿飞去；一会儿在笼沿上站着，一会儿在笼里蹦蹦跳跳；一会儿和父母撒娇，一会儿为同伴梳理羽……人们走到这里，都被此情此景给吸引了，纷纷取出相机和手机，拍照留念。
接着我们有去了日本馆。日本人很注重科技环保，它们的科技很发达。它们能将污水变为饮用水，可以让机器人说话，而且机器人还会拉小提琴呢！特别是他们的环保做的非常好，我深有感触。
然后我们又去了卢森堡馆、朝鲜馆、克罗地亚馆……。看了许多地方的风土人情。
大概7：00了，我们也要走了。坐在返回旅馆的车上，我万分感慨世博会不及是上海人民的骄傲，也是全国人民的骄傲。举办世博会展示出了我国雄厚的经济实力和民族的团结。祝愿上海世博会能圆满成功，祖国能更加繁荣、昌盛。
