马路中间和两边都是漂亮绿化带，树木参天，鲜花盛开，到了晚上，灯火通明，各种园林灯饰，火树银花，争相吐艳，五彩缤纷，美丽极了，构成一幅幅美丽的图案． 回想过去，榕江北河两岸是名副其实的垃圾路，到处都是拾荒者的住宿地，臭气熏天，行人走过都要捂着脸．而现在，榕江北河两岸建成了绿化带景观长廊，江面上已建成大型音乐喷泉，两岸绿树成荫，园林绿化，城市景观，是人们休闲娱乐、健身的好去处．
到了晚上，各种豪华灯饰不停闪烁，金碧辉煌，使人如入仙景，美不胜言． 随着三十亿工程顺利建设，老城区的顺利改造，我相信揭阳会变得越来越美．

我心中有一个美丽的地方，它就是揭阳楼，为什么说它是一个美丽的地方呢？让我来告诉你吧！
早上，爸爸、妈妈带我去揭阳楼玩。
一进揭阳楼，我就看见中央有一个博物馆，很威风地“站”在那一动不动。揭阳楼最使我着迷的景物是莲花步道，妈妈说莲花步道的确很美，在高空看，是一朵莲花。我兴奋地向莲花步道冲去，我看见那有许多年前的历史。告别了莲花步道，我们来到了泰山石，它像一个强壮的巨人威武地站在那，身上刻了五个金光闪闪的字，像穿了一套铠甲，我爬上去坐了一下，像坐在巨人身上，心里美滋滋的，比吃了蜜糖还甜。告别了泰山石，我们要回家了。我还舍不得回家，因为揭阳楼非常美丽，它让我陶醉。
我觉得揭阳楼时一个让我陶醉的.好地方。
