你好！昨天是腊八，妈妈熬了腊八粥，腌了腊八蒜，可以说是过了一个比较传统的腊八节。今天的这封信是妈妈在20XX年写给你的第一封信。
记得去年的腊八是在周六，腊八蒜是我们傍晚时分一起扒蒜做的，腌了腊八蒜自然而然就说到了腊八粥，你于是提议我们晚上也喝腊八粥。虽然每晚都会熬粥，可做腊八粥在咱家可是头一回。因为事先没有准备，妈妈把家里可以熬粥的食材都用上了，也只凑了七样，于是妈妈调侃说，人家熬八宝粥，咱熬的这是七宝粥。好长时间以后，你有一天突然对妈妈说，其实那天可以放点枸杞的，那样就真的'是八宝粥了。可惜当时我们都没想起来，不过没想起来也有没想起来的好处，要不然怎么会有七宝粥一说呢。
在你出生后不久，妈妈就开始用A4纸以给你写信的方式记录我们的生活，最初这么做只是想对你的成长做一个真实的记录，希望有朝一日能把这些白纸黑字的文字当成礼物送给你，让你能从这些最平凡的书写中看到自己的成长，读懂妈妈的爱。
俗话说，好记性不如烂笔头。我始终觉得相比回忆，当时当下的记录应该更为准确，许多事真的会随着时间的流逝而淡忘，妈妈写的可能琐碎，但却真实，这就是我一直坚持写下来的原因。
说是写信，可是真让你看了的却没多少，更多的时候都是老妈一个人用给你写信的口吻表述日常的点点滴滴。相对来说，在你小的时候写得多，因为小朋友的童言趣事比较多嘛，主旋律也很轻松。等你上了初中写得少了不说，主题也稍显沉重了点，其中会有许多对你的不满和抱怨。你曾说过：老妈你可别写太多了，我哪有时间看呐。想到这话我就会笑，可能现在真让你全都看了你会觉得是个负担，但将来等妈妈不在了，说不定你还会嫌少呢，因为同妈妈相比，文字毕竟要单薄许多。
其实我这人有许多缺点，脾气暴、性子急，还话多，在这几点上你对我也有很多传承，于是在咱们之间会有激烈的碰撞，不愉快在所难免。但好在母女之间是肉相连，气的时候很气，过去了依然可以亲密无间。
今天老妈我突然间就想明白一件事：为什么大多数人都认为我脾气好或者说是人不错？这是因为我没有对大多数人付出什么心，所以无关痛痒，更不会受伤。于你则不同，妈妈投入了太多太多的心，你的任何行动和言语对我都极富伤力，就是这样。我承认有时候是我反应过度，但你也得承认有时候确实是你不对。退一步讲，老妈我千错万错把你养大总不是错，缺点再多也不能抹我那颗爱你的心。可能你现在会觉得自己浑身是理，满腹愤懑，可是等过上十年、二十年或者在更久的以后再回过头来看，没有是非，有的是什么，到时候你自己解答。
老妈似乎越说越沉重了，一点也不符合新年的气氛，好了，我们换个话题。2014年你将结束初中生活，迈入人生的又一个阶段，当下是冲刺的关口，有许多考验在等着你。认真、踏实、自主、高效，这些必不可少，相信你比我更明白现在的形势，不必多说。
从小你就是一个有想法的孩子，也因此而显得有些不够听话。你或许不乖巧，但相比单纯的“听话”，妈妈觉得思想独立更值得鼓励，虽然一个人会因为个性而犯许多错误，但没有个性本身就是一个错误。当然，我也得承认，在你的个性方面我其实是最大的受害者，没少吃你的亏受你的气。尽管如此，老妈还是为你而骄傲，因为出了家门，你一直都让我很放心。
马上就期末了，当然要祝你取得好成绩。考试是平时学习的检验，发现问题并努力解决才会不断进步。
