在每个人的成长过程中，总会有一件让你感受到成长的事。如：让你懂得节约;让你懂得珍惜;让你懂得做人。在经历过这一件件事后，你才会发现自己成长了。我就亲身经历过一件让我感受到成长的事。我还知道，另一件发生在别人身上的事。下面我就一一讲给你们听。
在一个星期六的早晨，妈妈烧完早饭后，发现家里的煤气没有了，只好打电话给送煤气的，本以为中午他就会送来煤气，可到了中午11:30分了还是没有送来。家里只好用电磁炉烧，可电磁炉偏偏也坏了。无奈之下，妈妈只好拿出了之前爷爷用过的炉子烧菜。那炉子不用煤气，要用柴来生火。家里平时用煤气用惯了，所以为生火，就花了很长很长的时间。我不禁发出感叹，爷爷的那个时代是多么的贫穷，是多么的艰苦，不像现在这样，烧饭只用煤气，方便又快。我们家一般11:00就吃饭，可这一次烧菜就用了很长的`时间，到了12:00才可以吃饭，这一次大家都已经饿的不行了，吃饭时都是大口大口的吃。这件事后，让我懂得了节约。节约每一分钱，节约每一升煤气，节约每一滴水……还有一件事，虽然不是发生在我身上，但他也让我懂得了许多的道理。
在一条小马路上，几个放学后的小同学走在回家的路上。这天，下着雨，一个中年妇女骑着装满苹果的三轮车在拼命的往家跑。可下着雨，路太滑，在一个转角处不小心滑到了，一整车的苹果掉落在地上。那些放学回家的小学生正经过此路，中年妇女见一群小学生，不断的靠近，心想：自己的苹果一定会被抢光的。可小学生们的举动，让中年妇女大吃一惊。小学生们不但没有抢中年妇女的苹果，而是，先用红领巾围成一条警戒线。然后帮中年妇女捡苹果。这件事，让我羞愧不已，一个个比我小的小学生都能如此好心的帮中年妇女捡苹果，而我却不断地给父母添乱。
同学们，让我们不断地学会学习、学会做人，将来好好的报效祖国吧。
