作文是思维成果的展示,因此作文创新首先是思维的个性化。作文思维的个性化,能使文章思想独到、新颖而深刻。创新思维是一种具有开创意义的高智能活动。它具有一般思维的性质,又具有独创性、突破性和新颖性。创新思维的结果是实现知识和信息的增值,这是一般思维所无法比拟的,这些正是我们作文所必备的。在作文训练设计中,教师应把如何激活学生的创造性思维,放在设计的首位。
1.加强想象力和联想力的培养
想象力、联想力,是衡量创造思维能力高低的标尺,也是检测个性发展程度的标尺。同时,培养学生的想象力、联想力,又是发展个性的重要途径。另一方面,想象力、联想力的训练又是作文训练的薄弱环节。有相当一部分学生写文章常感到“无话可说”,其实并不是记忆仓库中没有材料,而是因为联想的“线路”没有接通。常常可以听到“浮想联翩”一词,“浮想”就是“联想”,“联翩”就是一个接一个地“联想”,由所写的人、事、物联想到许多与之有关的人、事、物及其所含的道理。因此,我们必须加强学生这方面的训练,做到训练经常化、具体化。经常化,指平时的作文,大都可用来培养想象力、联想力。具体化,指通过启发思路、传授方法,帮助学生掌握如何想象,如何联想。用这样的训练激活学生的创造思维。

深刻思维是指由表及里、由现象到本质的思维方式。没有深刻的思维,文章就不会有思想的高度。针对学生作文停留在单纯的记事、作文没有深度的现象,教师故意出一些似乎自古已有定论的问题,让他们讨论,提升他们的思想深度。
3.加强灵感思维的训练
